I had the JWT clutch and flywheel installed last week. The chatter is not what many make it out to be. It is only noticable after the car has warmed up even then it is not that bad and I have a roadster and can barley here it with the top down. As for performance, a quicker run through 1st and 2nd are noticable, red line comes about a full second faster and this can take some time adjusting to, but it is definately for the better. I also had the stainless steel clutch line and pivot ball replaced (recommended) which gave the clutch a much stiffer feel which is definately an improvement over stock. The clutch engages the gears at about half way through the pedal travel. All in all this is a big improvement over the stock setup!

Wow I guess some of you guys are harder on your clutches than me. 15k of miles of autox, road courses, drag racing and my clutch feels the same since day one. Hehe.

im still waiting on something stronger than the JWT to come out for our cars and something that wont mess the slave cylinder up lol. and by stronger i mean twin plate. im sorry but im at 503 to the wheels i dont think that the JWT will handle that. im not going to spend that type of money on a clutch and flywheel just to be disapointed in the ln the long run. i know O S Geiken has a twin plate clutch out that says it will handle close to 700whp and im thinking about getting that but im just not to sure on how that might affect the slave. any input would be much apreciated.

P.S. i am not knocking people who have the JWT i am just not a believer on it handling that much hp. especially with my goal being around 700whp within the year

ATS has one out with a conversion kit to run the old style slave. Its like 2k+ for the kit though.

There is a vendor on here that carries it, and I know horsepowerfreaks does as well.

They have a twin and triple.

ATS triple metal and triple carbon can handle up to 850 hp and 1,000 hp respectively.

Mine is down in a comfortable spot, in fact, I have a mushy spot near the top of the pedal (I've bled and rebled), I think its a component of the JWT pressure plate.
