for the last week or so i had the cell light on, didn't bother getting rid off it, then today it turned off. i didn't do anything to the cats.
did this happen to anyone else????????
Right way... No CEL'S.. If your desperate for power.. F*** it. But I'm in no rush and in no way compulsive for power.. So i'll wait it out.

Im Not The Only One...So Im Glad Your going to wait till.................................................... Whenever someone does it the "RIGHT" way instead of just buying some $.99 cent Brillo Pad and stuffing it in between the sensor and non-foulers,and swallowing your pride for one sacrafice.

UPDATE: I've been had a cel light on for long time. After reading this thread, I pumped a full take of Shell gas a week ago. Today, I reached almost empty tank and guess what, my CEL LIGHT is GONE! I went back to Shell and pumped another tank of 93. I will update if I get CEL light again. I guess no more Chevron...
My light has been off again since I been back with Shell. I noticed the Chevron stations show Ethanol 10%, and the Shell's do not. I wonder if it's because of that?
This time I put the wool in my non-foulers as well.

That is incorrect.. Every gas station states "May contain up to 10% ethanol" I find that shell gas is just the purest and use the least amount of ethanol. V-Power all day for me
Now there gas is Nitrogen enriched as well another cleaning agent

This is true for Florida - I just avoid those everytime Im there. In Texas it tells you specifically what/if any ethanol content it has.
Solo - I agree with your reasoning its the crappy ethanol blend. Just another reason to avoid the next big scam.Ethanol.
lol, i love how a little light can bother so many people when all intents and purposes, it does nothing to effect performance of the cars some people are wanting to sell their cars because of this little light, lulz.

I understand where your comming from.. but It's always nice to have a indicator when something really is wrong.. but DEEFFF NOT a reason to sell the car.. wtf?

It is true at all the Shell gas stations around my house. They do not say 10% ethanol like the Chevrons do.

Actually when my cars light comes on it does effect the performance. It doesn't run as good and I get crappier gas mileage.
I don't understand why you can't comprehend this. You wouldn't expect it to pass emissions when it will with HFCs from Berk, but when you are cleaning the gases less than you were stock and it is causing the readings to no longer be in the tolerable range the ECU has set, then it WILL throw a code.
There will NEVER be one when you mess with HFCs or Downpipes. Till you understand that messing with the exhaust and removing the cats or putting higher flow ones that clean less, you can't get away from this.
is there any HFC or test pipe that won't throw the code? better yet, will a Technosquare reflash or AccessPORT remedy this?
