Hey solo i think i saw you one time on thousand oaks. I also use Shell Gas and compared to any other gas stations the shell gives me most miles for the buck. I get around 300 miles to a tank(75%city 25% Driving to Sac down town). O, i also have test pipes and i never seen a performance degrade just that annoying bog from 2,200k to 3k Rpms.

Just my 2cents

Yep. I live off Thousand Oaks.

I use to get that bog till I got tuned now it's smooth. I also noticed gas mileage is better with Shell.

Really? Seems to me the ECU puts the car into a safe parameter mode. I even asked UPREV this and they agreed.

Got a nice boost in power. Not exactly sure because they tuned my car stock and it only gained 5 hp midrange and 8 hp up top. But once the bolt ons go on and they keep adjusting my tune it keeps getting better. I would personally wait till you get all the bolt ons like intake, exhaust, spacer, hfc, etc and then get a tune and you will see a nice increase.

The Brillo padding is what is helping you. That is all that you need to fix the Berks.

2 tanks of gas, no lights. SS Wool and BG helped.

my CEL just came back on again. i'm gonna go ahead and put the SS wool in that berk sent me a few weeks ago. how exactly do i do this? do i unscrew the sensor, and wrap the actual sensor? or do i unscrew the sensor and stuff the hole with the SS wool? i don't want any surprises when i'm under my car and i'd rather not have to do it twice, so if anybody who has done this can chime in i would appreciate it..

Disconnect the O2, then unscrew it. Stuff half of the SS wool they sent you in the hole. Screw the O2 back in and connect it back up. Then do the other side with the rest of the SS wool.

so far the gtm does not seem to be throwing a cel. at least thats the last i heard. i have had no problem with the ss stuffing in my high flows. my boy just traded in his 07 that had my old test pipes stuffed and he had 7k miles and no problems. not to mention the 2k i put on them when i installed them

is that person with the GTM TP's on here?

I might give it a shot if it does the trick. Only thing is, if it doesn't work, I'd spent $145+ on TP's alone since I can get Berk's at 215$ shipped and GTM's are 359+shipping
