Generally speaking 255-260 whp is stock. I dynoed 261 with the exhaust. Look at your base numbers before and after the tune on the same dyno, that will tell you the story.

My base #'s with intake and exhaust was 252, after fixing the lean issue and tune it was 264 on a dynopack. Here is new dyno run on dyno jet today. I heat wrapped intake also. This is after uprev tune. Name: postthisone.jpg

Dynopacks read about 20hp higher than dynojets. Your car is not running like it should. Like I said, CALL UPREV.

Ok I was just on uprev.com I didn't realize it till now. Uprev was doing tuning at bunch of different shops, the list is on main page. Anyways..Lawrence from intec did the tuning for them. He is the one who tuned my Z that day. So im guessing he knows his stuff.

That doesn't mean Lawrence knew how to tune the car with their software correctly. They are just a tuner that is all.

King, different types of dynos give different results. Mustang Dynos dyno lower than Dynojets, and DynoPacks dyno higher. Do some searching and you will see it has been discussed before.

Not necesarily, it is all up to calibration but your statement is the general idea for dynopacks. If you go to precisionZ's dynopack, which a handfull of members have been too, you will notice your numbers are lower than dynojet readings, about 10-15hp on their dyno i believe. But i'd call UPREV regardless, couldnt' hurt.

that means you gained 12 whp with the tune. its not about the end power, its about the gain. all dyno's read different, so comparing them is more or less pointless

this is not always true. Mustang dynos can read higher than dynojets if you want them to. A dyno is only as accurate as its operator.

Nismo I ended up doing a tune, not the reflash. He didnt feel it was safe to do a big tune because of what the AFR was showing on the dyno. I think im understanding now.
