Stillen also told me they were planning to make it for the VQ35HR. I offered to let them use my car as test car but they said they already had one. ...... Oh i forgot to mention, this was 2 years ago at the stillen meet when I practically bought the HR the day it came out.

I got a response via email today. Sounds at least promising.

"We are working on a supercharger for the vq35hr. We have a lot of time and engineering work in this project. At this point it is going well, but we are not close to any formal announcement. We will let everyone know as we get closer to a release date. Our goal is to produce a CARB approved 50 state legal unit."

You could email them yourself. sales@stillen.com
Perhaps, showing our interests in their supercharger project will encourage them to complete it's production in timely fashion.

I sent them a couple emails last summer. got the same reply: "we are working on it.... etc. etc. etc." Maybe this time with more emails they'll speed it up.

just got an email back from them, same standard response, didn't say what type of blower it will be.

here's the email:

We are working on a forced induction kit for the HR engines. There have been a number of technical and engineering hurdles and I am pleased to report that we have made excellent progress on these.

We are not ready to make any formal announcement regarding this kit or the likely components of the finished product.

You may be aware that Stillen designed and built the first and most popular 50 state legal supercharger for the 350Z, G35 and FX35. We are proud of our track record for reliability, performance and legality and our goal is to continue this tradition with any new unit.

Here is another email from stillen (Jeff Ricciardi) seems pretty close to the last one posted.

Hi Muhammad and thanks for your interest in Stillen.

We are working on a forced induction kit for the HR engines. There have been a number of technical and engineering hurdles and I am pleased to report that we have made excellent progress on these.

We are not ready to make any formal announcement regarding this kit or the likely components of the finished product, Unfortunately, these type of projects take a lot of time in both design, testing and manufacturing and we can’t give you specs or any realistic timetable at this point.

You may be aware that Stillen designed and built the first and most popular 50 state legal supercharger for the 350Z, G35 and FX35. We are proud of our track record for reliability, performance and legality and our goal is to continue this tradition with any new unit.

Thanks for your inquiry,

Jeff Ricciardi

Hi Jeff,

Thanks for your response. Please try and work your hardest as there is much interest in this kit. I see many sales in the future if the right kit is designed with around 400 + whp. Please keep the 350z community informed.

Thanks again,

Muhammad Khan

Hi Muhammad,

This is a very high priority with our R&D team. We believe that this will be a good selling kit as well. 400 at the wheels? We’ll see as the kit comes along, but our goals are to produce a reliable and 50 state legal kit using stock engine components. On the last two variations of this engine, neither of these would be possible at this kind of power output. But as I say, we’ll know better as we get to the testing phase.

Thanks,

Jeff
