07_350z_JP, so did you feel a noticeable difference with your Stillen? I was under the assumption that Injen had been the only intake to consistently show gains on the HR, what are your thoughts on the Stillen now that they've been in your car for some time? Did you also have an aftermarket exhaust or just an intake at the time you got those dyno numbers?

we both only had intakes at that time.Sucks we never baselined- shop was having a dyno day so they wanted cars ready to go.So one cant really tell what the gain was. However it was pretty clear that the stillen gave better results than fujita. Not saying Fujita lost 10hp just saying I dont believe the Stillens gave me 10hp by itself. Can we split the difference

You are correct the injens long tube CAI are the only ones to show a true 10+whp(some even 14whp) consistently- I suppose the Stillen Ver3 would yield the same results as designs are near identical.

My stillen Ver1 felt great and have preformed great.Just trying to save people money. Get a well designed shielded intake like stillen or the front bumper long tube injen/stillens. Everything else that is exposed even partially - is all marketing. But hey its your money- do what makes you happy guys.

injen fools the maf sensor, and that is the only reason why it makes power.

so, for HR - injen long tube is it... the rest are a joke

for the injen intake: would you still need to get a reflash to get the gains?

the gains are w/o a tune... tuning would further increase gains of the entire car (now better equipped to perform). For example a stock car can be retuned to gain HP, but with bolt ons you empower and enable your car to "make more power".
