Default loud clutch???

One day I had my music on mute and I was listening to my car at idle after driving it for awhile, and I notice that my clutch is pretty loud. Ill be at like the drive thru and the propeller sound which is the clutch would be loud. Anyone experience this? Or is this normal?

You will probably need a new clutch soon.

I dont think I need a new clutch because my clutch is still pretty responsive, so I dont think so.

the "new clutch" comment was just sarcasm due to the fact that this question gets answered daily in these neck of the woods.

sweet i'm glad i looked for a thread that would answer my question before i would start a thread.

i just picked up my 08 today and i noticed the same thing. i got a little worried since its used and i dont know how the previous owner treated it. then again it has 2k miles, so i couldn't imagine how much abuse someone could possibly do in 2k miles.

The new Z's should have a feature that whenever the shifter is in neutral and the clutch pedal is up, a dash light comes on that says "Yes, that noise is normal."
