Exactly. To be precise I put down 261whp and 233wtq with only the exhaust on the car. I am now over 300whp and over 250wtq. The headers, cats, intake and tune netted me 40whp (again I'm seriously doubting that I gained anything with the intakes).

What dyno? Because you don't gain that much just from Intakes, Headers, Cats and tune.

I have more than you and I didn't break 300rwhp and UPREV themselves tuned my car.

Numbers would prove otherwise.

Same dyno though out my whole upgrade process. Advance Power House right here in Toronto.

Out of curiosity were you able to rise your rev limiter?

You = TX, Brady = Canada.

Temp correction doesn't account for anything else that could be going on with the engine given the more than likely large temperature delta between the regions. It recalculates the final number based on air density and pressure for a given temperature and elevation.

7-8whp difference between your guys' final numbers. 2-3% difference, for any number of other variables, including run-to-run variations. It's not that impossible to believe.

I asked them to not raise my limiter as I race my car and spend a lot of time at redline.

What kind of dyno? Dynojet, Mustang, etc?

Dynapack I believe? I'll confirm.

They tried to raise my revlimiter twice now to no avail. After seeing where the torque comes on and the HP peaks it seems like it would be a waste of time anyways. I too track my car, HPDE only, no races. Hoping to get it out to the 1/4 mile in Sept. That will prove the real numbers. A dyno to me is just for tuning. Way to many variables to base all information on that alone. But atleast it provides one an 'idea' of how much power they are making.

WOW.... your making 314whp with only exhaust, headers, HFC, and a tune? i thought you would have to do more to break 300whp...

I hit 284rwhp and lil over 250 tq with just injen CAI and greddy Ti-C dual and uprev tune on 93 at S&R in Tampa FL, on there dynomite. I asked around and they all told me the dynomite is the same as a dynojet.

I'm waiting to order my HFC to see if it pushes me over 295... then I mite do headers.

Take note that all of these 305+whp dyno's were from the same facility.

HUH?!

These cars have been Dyno Tuned all over the place not just one shop!

I am hoping to experiment with cams over the winter. Will try the 268 grind & re-tune.

No HR will do over 300RWHP on a dynojet. These OTHER Dynos are also way to high to believe. You can't sit there and tell me that you are making more power with the same mods a 370z does?

That's is not true....it is very probable some one will.

You, phenom and one more that I can't think of (aside from A.H and I won't even get started on that garbage) were all tuned at that magic dyno in NY. You made like 26X on a dynapack and with the same mods baselined ~310 on this dyno. Come on now.

HUH Dude use Screen names! I assume your talking about me....

I had a base of 265 WHP on a sh*tty dynopack running lean. After several hours tuning with a base of 302 on a Mustang the car then put down 314 WHP!!!! A Mustang dyno is more true to life. Wheels on the car under load.

edit:

The shop never stated how many pulls they ran on the Dynopack and also never hooked up a wideband. So I rule out thier results completely as to me they are not creditable.........

LOL! Mustang is far from true life. And you don't gain from 265rwhp to 302 to 314 from just a tune.

So because the dyno that reads low you call it shitty, but one that spits out a ridiculous number is the "best". Dynapacks also simulate load (albeit connected straight to the hubs). You proved my point perfectly......you made 265 and then 302 (a 37whp difference) on this "magic" dyno. I was speaking with someone else on here who ran their car at the track (made 300+ on that dyno) and was only pulling ~101 traps.....that indicates pretty clearly how absurd the numbers that thing puts out. It only benefits the shop and makes the customer think of them in a higher light (because they can claim to tune a car to XXXwhp, which inevitably is higher than others). Run it at the track (should trap 110-112 with that power) or on a dynojet (sae).
