Just wandering if anyone has installed the Kenne Bell Boost-A-Pump system on their HR yet...If so how hard was the install??? I've seen them be installed on a Scion TC but it had 2 in-line fuel pumps and i was just wandering what it's like to install it on the HR 350z...I should have mine here at the house on Monday and gonna try to install it on my car next weekend or next week if it's nice(damn snow)...Then gonna put some q16 in the car and take it to the dyno and try to hit 700whp range...This is just temporary till i get a return fuel system...and does anyone know when AAM is comming out with their twin pump return fuel system for the HR yet??? They keep telling me a couple weeks and that was 3 months ago...

raises the static fuel pressure and turns a 255lph fuel pump into about a 320lph fuel pump by raising the voltage to the fuel pump...we actually put it on the TC before we had the twin pump fuel system and took the TC from 389whp to about 519whp just by buying this system...plus im making 543whp on 100octane and im gonna put q16 in the car this time...plus i got a built motor and twin turbo kit...

I know most fuel pumps are meant to be run at 12-14V for obvious reasons. I wonder if running it at 17.5V will burn it out.

 

I've not heard of anyone running it on a Z/G, but there'd be advantages to just keeping the voltage stable. I've never heard a bad report on the boost-a-pump. The fact is that we have a nice solution with the CJM twin pump, so anyone looking for over 600 whp could just throw that in (and that would exceed the capabilities of the boost a pump).

 

I don't see how this is even possible, within reason..

 

Fuel pump output is dependent on voltage. What's hard to believe?

 

Too bad the RSX is still faster...
