Default Someone is working on an intake manifold for us

Your going to be really mad I can't tell you who but I was in a shop and they had an engineer looking at and discussing it, This shop should have one to test in 4-5 weeks I will keep you posted. They said as soon as they get enough info they will come post up. I just wanted to let my fellow brother's know some one is looking out for us.

I'm not holding my breath. Plenty of "shops" have made too many promises.

Edit: Hah, didn't realize this was for an HR. My point does still stand though.

yup yup same as with revshift. never heard from them again.

Sheet metal intake manifold
This aluminum sheet metal intake manifold is designed to fit the Nissan 350Z 2007-2008 VQ35HR

Revshift's intake manifold designs take advantage of high air-flow characteristics, inertial effects, and pressure-wave tuning to achieve air density in cylinders that substantially exceeds atmospheric pressure.

These manifolds are fabricated from high quality 6061 aluminum. They are 100% precision TIG welded by a skilled professional for maximum strength and durability. All flanges are CNC cut to perfection from 3/8" thick 6061 aluminum. Although it is not necessary in naturally aspirated applications, air/fuel tuning is recommended to maximize horsepower gains and reliability.

In naturally aspirated applications a 5-10% power increase is typical; in forced induction applications a 15-20% power increase is typical

have you guys ever thought with the amount of space or the lack there of and the possible fact that Nissan actually engineered the HR plenum very well doesnt play into the reason why no one has made one?

Yeah, I'm not gonna say there's going to be much progress on this. The manifold already has two inlets and flows plenty of air. It's understandable why it works on the DE, but the effect would be far less drastic on an HR.

There are very few shops that would even consider this project!!! Kennedy also mentioned that they would post back with details. Hmmmm

What shops are within driving distance and also sponsor this forum?! LOL Could it be Forged Performance???! That would be my guess.

i wouldnt care if it made any difference in performance at all just if they could change the design from the fugly waffle. i wish the GTR manifold would work on ours that would look so much better.

maybe not get the same gains as plenums on the DE's but maybe could get slight improvement as well as be more aesthetically pleasing since allot of people like the engine bay to look good.
