HR people get over it. The stock design is pretty efficient. I think Nissan engineers learned a lesson from the DE design.

I wonder if Nissan engineers are laughing at all the attempts to try and create a better manifold? hmm...

Wow, I got blasted in the other manifold thread for saying this, glad someone thinks along the same lines...

you will have to ask john if he took some pics. anyway, jus got back from Z1, the plenum does not fit, off by an inch or so clearance wise..

on the bright side, John will be contacting Kinitex to get the ball rolling on a 350zhr specific version....so there is hope still.

What do you mean "doesn't fit"? Doesn't fit as in not allowing the strut bar to be installed, or doesn't fit as in the hood won't even close??

if you have a problem with the way the stock manifold looks. have it resurfaced.

I read through the whole thread about that VHR manifold and being also tested on a HR engine ..

well good luck with that , the bolt pattern arent the same...

my current Intake manifold come from the HR and the 4 center bolt hole had to be modified. since Nissan didnt want us doing the swap from HR to VHR ...

you can also look at the Motordyne M370 which is the modified 350z HR intake manifold.
