We expect to have them in stock by the end of June. Intro pricing on them will be $995.00 for the first batch of 10 that we get from Kinetix. After that we expect them to sell in the $1049-1099 range.
Good question, we haven't tried one on a VQ35HR, I'm unsure if the plenums are interchangeable between the two.

We've never had an issue with the DE Velocity plenum or with the V+ plenum for that matter. I've heard stories of V+ plenums rupturing under high boost but have never seen one personally.
I believe it showed minimal gains on a NA DE motor, but showed good gains when FI'ed.
Same situation here on the VQ37HR model, we've been testing this one on our 370Z and have only seen 3-4 HP gains from it, we're dying to get it installed on a F/I car and see what happens there.
had the ssv replacement on a customers car. g35 with pl35r kit. tested with stock intake manifold and kinetix piece, almost identical in power curve and peak power

At least it will hold high boost (hopefully) and it looks amazing.
P.S. I know no one found the limit of the plastic OEM manifold yet and hopefully not me when I tune my car soon (with my bad luck and me having to chase vendors to get my parts,flash..) hopefully anytime this year
The lower has square holes coming up so how does putting round runners over a square hole flow?
Since you have this on the car and took it to Z-Dayz, I assume you tuned the car with this on there. Where are the dyno sheets?
Quoted from Big Woo in the "someone is working on an intake manifold for us" thread:
The answers to many of your questions, even the square per round hole one can be found in C.F. Taylor’s books “The internal combustion engine in theory and practice” volumes 1 & 2.
In a nut shell the transition from round to square and back again or vice versa will have little or no effect on air flow so long as the transition from one to the other occurs at an angle of less than twenty degrees.
