Don't be one of those guys that gets our hopes up and doesn't pull through! Take all sorts of pictures, from the package opening to the finished install. This way everyone knows what to expect!
well sorry to be that guy but poor planning gets the best of me....didn't check the instructions first i'll have to get in contact with Sam to have the tune file made for my Ecu. I'll have to do it another day now 2 days off in a row is hard to come by with my job so may be a couple weeks before its finally together.
Sam, I've been reading the 370z thread regarding this SC. In it you mention that aftermarket HFCs won't last longer than a few thousand miles due to the increased temperatures in the exhaust flowing through them.
I'm planning to purchase a kit in the spring, and was wondering if you recommend reinstalling the OEM Cats, or will they suffer from the same stresses and ultimately fail as well?
Still hoping to get a response to this... Guess GTM is selling enough units to the 370z community and has decided to abandon us altogether.

Sorry, I missed your post. Our experience has been in the past that aftermarket high flow cats don't have good longevity when adding a good FI system. I don't remember a single HFC that had lasted with an FI system. To spend $600 on them and throw away after 6 month does not make any sense. So options either to install factory cats which are built much better and have a chance of surviving FI or install test pipes.

been 10k+ miles and almost 3 years on my AAM 3" HFC's; the same ones they use as upgrade on GTRs.. 415whp all day long. They cost more than the run of the mill HFC but worth it IMO... no CEL and that's _without_ nonfoulers.

Good to know and I'm glad you had a better experience, maybe they are using different material .
