Thanks for the feedback guys. I still don't know what to think. Just seems like bolt-ons are relatively pointless for the HR. I see others are reaching some higher number - not sure if that's due to different dynos or what. Either way, it's definitely opened my eyes.

I wanted to keep my nose out of this thread, but since I didn't, can you please stop crying already. Nobody died! I'm sure the car now looks great. Why don't you add what my friend(hope he's still my friend) Jig suggested, add some 3:90 or 4:08 gears & have some fun!!!!

I'm starting to wonder what benefit if any E85 would have on a bolt on HR. It's great on turbo applications... NA, a Z might be able to gain another 12whp... But bigger injectors and fuel pump cost for it aren't worth it for most though

I am so sorry but Thank You. I had a hunch our HRs are pretty much maxed out. Since I live in restricted CA anyway this made it easier forme. Thank you. Guess now I can save many hours of looking for parts. I guess just a set of cold air intakes is all I need. Thanks for the info.

Why do you think it would gain 12 whp.

Not being a dick I just cant comprehend where you came up with that.

Just a rough estimate out of nowhere in all reality bro. I'm optimistic, but some people see it as stupidity. I'm not a pro. Once i get bigger injectors and pump, i'm going to try it. If it's a waste of money, oh well, but if I gain any power, than cool. Just another option. We've been having a couple of turbo applications go the E85 route quite successfully in my Engines Class, my professor wants to see if E85 would help NA applications, so naturally, my fat a$$ volunteered.

No offense taken Jiggy. I know you mean well.

I don't understand I see people dyno-ing these mods all over the place and are pulling crazy numbers. I would honestly blame your tune.

LOL, that actually made my laugh out loud.

I asked the question because I was under the impression that E85 allowed you to run more boost. So i dont understand how E85 would help at all.

E85 is just "cheap race fuel".... Its awesome to have up here in the Mile High City, since we only have 91Octane. Especially at $2.16/gal

Lots of guys/gals are switching to it up here.

To OP, you have changed my mind about buying performance mods for the HR. I plan on selling my 03 in the spring/summer and getting an 07. All I need is wheels, coilovers, clutch and gears and maybe an exhaust and then call it a day

you should see some nice gains, E85 burns much cooler . you should be able to run allot more agressive timing without having the EGT's through the roof also allot harder to knock (obviously) make sure you tune the cam phasing overlap that is where most of the power is made. Keeping the flow velocity is what makes N/A power.

I was able to make an extra 30 Ponies out of a Tune Alone.
