Default GTM (Rotrex) Vs. Stillen (Vortech)

I have been doing quite a bit of research on these two products that are coming out for the HR because I have been waiting 3yrs for the market to catch up on the DTB motors (Thank you 370z for pushing them). Unfortunately I have not been able to find any forums that have a straight up comparison on the two different superchargers. I realize the big difference in the two is the drivetrain. Would anybody be able to elaborate on the pros and cons on the two setups and superchargers themselves?

The stillen kit is non existent at this point. They have been saying that they are coming up with one since 07. Just get the GTM kit. Besides if stillen did push the kit out for the same price as the 370Z kit, the GTM kit is a better buy for what you get. On top of that its cheaper.

I have actually been talking to Stillen about the SC kit they are coming out with. It has been released for the 370 already. They are currently waiting on a 350 for fitment and tuning. Of course I have been told this for the last 5 months. I have one of these kits on order. I only recently found that GTM had released this one.
Question for Sam@GTM, if I got the tuner kit(which doesnt come with the injectors and fuel pump)could I get them anyways and how much would it cost? What ECU management system do you recommend?
I have a build setup with Forged Performance already, with one of their shortblocks mind you, and Im getting very tired of waiting for Stillen.

You already ordered a kit through stillen? I have emails from jan 08 to tell you that they have been "working" on the kit. If they needed a Z, someone would have loaned a car to work with. I would have given them mine if they had said that because I've been overseas for the last year.

Anyway get your money back and just buy the GTM kit. At least there is proof that it exist.

Stillen is overpriced and does not produce enough power for my tastes. GTM SC kit FTW!

The Tuner kit is offered to those who have started moding the car and have some sort of EMS solutions already. If this does not apply to you then i would suggest to stick to the turn key solution, you will be getting more value that way .

As for EMS recommendations it does not make any sense to do anything else but the flash, its cost effective and it does work .

I would like to mention that all our inhouse installs came from out of state and we have been getting great feed backs. The system is working flawlessly and some of those customer had put in over 8 k without a single issue .

Also many kits got shipped last week for people that will be attempting a DYI so there will be a lot of more info to come .
