Thanks bro. I saw you had a relatively large BBK with 18's. My stock 18's werent' even close diameter wise. Just want to be sure before I purchase.

Also I wouldn't (and no one will) recommend a 4.08 final drive for a FI car especially with TT kit and built motor. I think the 3.3 will suit your build better.

If we push it over 600 whp, I'll upgrade to the HKS or Haltech, although there are no HKS tuners anywhere near me.
The ARP L19 head studs are on the invoice, missed that part. I was looking at the ARP main studs.
I realize the 3.3 would probably be better, but since we've got both, we'll just give it a shot!

The car's already got $46k in it right now as it sits not including the price of the car, previous parts installed and pulled off, paint, or shop time. I'm fortunate enough to say that it's not about the price. If I had a GT-R it would just be that much more. Trust me, the wife is glad the Z didn't sell because I had my mind set on the 2012 GT-R, and I can't leave well enough alone. I'm pretty good at spending money!

tc-105n, sa-55m, ce-28, typef, rpf-1, and a few others fit well. you'll just have to try to test fit as offset is critical.

Been rockin' these 19" CE28N's for a while and lookin' at 'em thinking there's plenty of room if they were 18's. What are your wheel specs again?

Nice build. I love the way your car sits right now, can't wait to see it with boost.

Rpf1s won't fit I've tried them and the rotors plus calipers rubbed the inside of the barrel in addition to the caliper hitting the wheel face (a spacer obviously could remedy the later). Racing 6 calipers are unnecessarily wide. There are a few Yokohama Advans that will fit (find pictures of the JUN AWD Z33 as a reference).

Thanks for that info Kwame. I ran the GTS's for a while in then usual +17 and +18 offsets and had to space them out a bit to fit. I beleive if I can find an 18" wheel with good "diameter" clearance in a +15, it would be allright.

On another note, engine is completely stripped and should be on a truck today headed to GTM. Also pulled the seats and took measurements for the new tube-frame rails ( got that idea from dikspiel ).

Is there a reason you went with GTM for your engine build?

I just have to say I AM JEALOUS!!! I'm sure the 4.08 won't work with the amount of power you are/will be making! My car dyno'd a tad above 300 whp and I can break the tires loose like noting rolling in 2nd. On the side note I'm running R888 295's. I foresee the wheelhop as being your main concern and problem w/ the amount of power! Keep us posted pls

Wow, you are a lucky guy! But man...after this build you have a good $70k invested into a 350z - I just cannot believe you are not driving a GT-R instead.

My shop has a great builder, but does not have the capability to do machine work. It costs just as much for us to send the block to GTM as it would to out-source a local guy. Plus, GTM has done many builds on this platform...I trust them.

I'll do my best. I'll be out of country with work for 5 weeks starting tomorrow, but my builder promised lots of pics and info. He's a pretty good friend too, so I'll stay on his @$$.

If I had a GT-R, I'd struggle to make it "unique". On top of the price of the car, aftermarket items still require a second mortgage to purchase. I paid cash for the Zed when I bought it new, and drop money on it whenever I get enough put in my "stash" account that the wife isn't too familiar with!
