No updates really. The most important box, with the block, hasn't arrived yet. Started putting the fuel system together though. Check it out ( sorry for the thumb, my work computer won't let me access photobucket ). I also sold my ARC oil cooler the other day to go with a smaller unit that doesn't block the intercooler.

Looking forward to more progress pics. How much did you let the ARC go for?

Quite a bit more than I thought I could get for it. I didn't put up a sale thread, people just started asking for it. I guess with ARC going out of business, it'll be a highly sought after item one day.

Well from what I've been told (By Justin at RPM) the block is at his house and he's working on it. The FMIC is installed, now they're waiting for the turbo's to be shipped.

The block just got back a couple weeks ago and my builder has it in a "clean-room" at his house for assembly. He decided to go ahead and port/polish the heads and lower plenum while we wait for the turbos, boost controller, a piece of the piping that didn't have the blow-off valve flange welded on it, and a few other odds and ends. It's been a long wait for parts since February...

long delays is always the result of a premature build thread.

I wonder why some wouldnt just go for a better car with the money yhey spend but maybe some just really like the Z and want to make it the best it can be....possibilities are kinda endless as peoe have proven with ridiculous numbers.

this is one serious baller build. glad to see everything is coming along smoothly and your only concern so far is delay of arrival of parts.

Well he did try and sell it before going Forced Induction......but asking that kind of question is kinda pointless. People do it because they like the car and just want more out of that car. Chad here did try and get a GT-R but no one wanted to buy his.
