Yeah, he sent me an email 10 days ago or so that explained the 4 things he wanted me to log. I used my usual approx. 20 parameters to log. I followed his recomendations and it turned into 3 seperate Cipher logs that I sent to him, explaining each log/details. I will have 5 maps; that's what you get with UpRev. He will have my SC kit base tune as map#1, Performance map #2, there will be like valet, anti-theft maps, etc. Main 2 maps for me will be 1+2. I asked him today to try to make my perf. map as agressive as he thinks is good!

I'm also looking into their APR carbon fiber front bumper air splitter that they sell.

Just a little bit around that "square" cut out to the right (dr. side), to get it to slide all of the way back and sit flat, was easy to do, but otherwise it lined up real well with the clip holes.

Thanks! Yeah the Stillen v3 kit is impressive and I'm loving it. You will have to check into it when you can.

Did a "flyby" to put the gopro to use; had to edit down about 20 min. of vid to get this short one, due to isolated location/retrieving camera from marker post, etc. I go past about 10 sec. after the 2 vehicles go by. Wanted to show the MD exhaust in perfmance mode; held it exactly at 140 in 5th as I pass the camera.

Thanks, the Bilstein pss10's are maxed out on rear (oem style for rears), fronts can be lowered or raised quite a bit more either way which is nice; I may even raise the fronts back up a few threads where they were because if I have another person in the car with me I have to be extra careful not to scrape (plastic ridge on bumper bottom) on dips/entry ways that I often go over are boarderline by myself haha!

Just got these today; oem heater core hoses (4 pc). I will get all new hoses installed; some peace of mind replacing the '07 hoses. Not everybody remembers to replace these hoses. Got them from CZP. The 2 on left are pass. side, other 2 dr. side. The 2 shorter hoses clamp onto inlet/outlet that is on firewall just inside engine bay. Pass side 2 hoses just clamp together to the shown metal coupling, then to the engine block, the drivers side has the existing valve that clamps between the 2 hoses, then to engine block.

*I blew a heater hose on a 280z I had and it really sucked to replace; inlet/outlet hoses used to come into cab up under dash; had to drop the blower unit and it was a real hassle to access. What's nice now is that the in/out nipples are right there in engine bay!

thanks for the compliment! 40 mph in 2nd and a stomp on the gas pedal puts you back in the seat hard; 3rd is like slingshot that delivers up to near triple digits. I've got the 3.9 fd gears and 2nd is very strong; 40 to 100 happens is just a few seconds. I like 3rd gear a lot (pulls hard) because you can slow down on the freeway to 60 mph and stomping on it then is like 2nd gear at 40.

love the brides,

watched the pull vid, sounds glorious, I can only imagine the amount of smiles this car brings to you.

Specific question for the SC unit; at what RPM does it start boosting - or better yet, did it improve low and midrange torque?

you have the perfect iteration of the Z imo, sure turbo's are nice and have their place - but one can't beat the reliability of the SC (same reason most aircraft in ww2 favored supercharging over tc)

Personally I would do exact same mods for my car as yours, except i'd get black seats to keep the whole theme going.

btw I used to own a SMB, now I got a carbon grey 07.

will be ordering z1undershroud when my next oil change rolls up.

Thanks for the compliment! The Bride seats in the black look awesome; a lighter color running down the middle of them. To be honest I'm not exactly sure at what rpms the boost kicks in; should know but these cars rev quick and when I get on mine all I know is that it's soon that the gauge starts climbing. I haven't dyno'd the car so I don't have before/after tq #'s, but no doubt it's got a good increase; noticeably quicker than stock start to finish or anywhere in between.

Have you been having any problems with the SC at all? I see you wrapped the intake pipe, were you noticing the same heat soak issues most people complain about on the 370 forum? If so, what improvements have you made and what seemed to help?

No problems at all. I am impressed with the V3 kit and really am glad that I have it. It does look better without the tube sleeve (polished), but I live in the hottest part of this State and I had seen these thermo sleeves; thought it may help with charge air temp.
