why would you need more pressure?
oil pump provides fluid volume, the main bearings are the resistance that cause pressure... if you are having a low oil pressure issue than use a thicker oil or you got a bearing issue
the spring relief is for relieving pressure near 80psi... and HR pumps move oil very well!!! so when you are near redline the pump is flowing the most oil and the engine does not need all that oil so it bleeds back into the pan
