Just got back from my mechanic guys it took him and his guys around 25 mins to put it on. Immediately after removing the stock plenum they compared it and was like" damn, thats definitely bigger" they all seem to think it was a good port job.

Getting a tune next saturday and I will report back with the results. Both on pros tuning mustang dyno and my local dyno jet that I did my baseline last year. If it works out well I will get their ported lower plenum also.

Well if it added maybe 5 or 6 whp before tune I wouldnt feel it on a 300+ whp car. I didnt floor it or anything yet but am sure It will be quicker after the tune. Plus I drove less than 15 miles after so I doubt thats enough timr for my ecu to detect any changes and make adjustments. I am confident this will make power tho.

As for sound, I have test pipes leading to agency power single canon blaster lol. I would never hear a lil change in sound.

It's not listed on the website. You have to call and ask for it. Most likely getting it also.

No am using the money for rfp1s tired of stock wheels. I will do headers and lower intake in maybe 2 months or so. I will just do the upper fr now. Do not want to delay it any further. The shop uses a mustang dyno but I will also do 3 runs on a dyno jet.

Do you think that intake manifold will hold 800+ WHP or does it loose some of its integrity due to modification done to it?

^^^

Flexes then expands then pops !

I wonder how try ported/grinded through the runner area on the lower side of the manifold?

Because from the pics I got from someone else and here shows that it's pretty much what Megan did years ago with a dremel.

Also porting the lower runner itself is a sexy idea

Messaged z1 about the lower plenum and this was their response. I will ask if that is after tuning or when done in combination with upper intake plenum. Mostly this is when the lower is done by it self.

"That's correct. The lower plenum porting is $295+$250 core if you are interested. We've picked up 4whp with the modification."

The shop pros tuning uses a mustang dyno. I never had my car dyno there before. But last time I went on a mustang dyno I made around 275-280. I am more interested in the dyno jet results that I will do at my local shop during that same week. Most likely monday or late saturday evening after I get back from pros tuning.

Hey guys just an update. For comparison other tuner was pro logics my ending number was 275 whp. My baseline pull at pros tuning today I made 269 whp on a mustang dyno. So it seems the dynos are pretty close in numbers.

After the first pull, Roger stated that the tune from them might not be bad but he will try his best. He added his base map and made 10 more whp after only working for 15 mins 2nd pull. He was like man they didn't do a whole lot. Yup I told him They maybe 3 pulls if that much. Went to gas station and when I came back it was down(hp logic)

So at the end of the tuning session roger got the car to 295 whp 257 wtq. Up from the 269whp 242wtq....I tried to 3 runs today at my local dyno jet that I did my stock baseline on. No luck tho dyno is out of service till about wednesday.
