Nitrous Builds
Been on here for awhile looking to get some more info on HR guys with Nitrous setups. Doesn't seem like there is alot of data/dyno results on Full Bolt on cars with a 100 shot. If there is will someone steer me in the right direction?
Is it out of the realm to make 400 whp with Intakes, a Catless header-back exhaust and a 100 shot?
Thanks.

I ran nitrous on my Z for most of the time I had it. It runs very well on a 100 shot or so, I never dynoed the car as the numbers aren't important but from what others have done, you can expect to pick up about 80whp on a 100 shot. So no you won't hit 400whp unless you are on a very generous dyno.
You can get there on a 125-150 shot though.

Probably not a good idea on the street, even with a good tire you can have traction issues in 2nd gear on a bigger shot with the stock rear. If you break traction on nitrous it's a lot different than N/A, you can't just peddle through it. At the track on a sticky tire it should be just fine though.

That time was just test pipes and the 100 shot, tuned with a Cobb AP by me. Trap was almost 114 mph, didn't hit the spray until 2nd gear as it was a night time test-and-tune event with minimal track prep and I wasn't hooking that great.
That's the problem, it's only a number. A car that was dynoed locally at nearly 300whp was barely faster than my car with just test pipes and a nitrous tune. I could take any car to a high reading dyno and get a number that's greater, but if it isn't faster, why bother? High 200's is the norm for an N/A HR.
