I'm just curious to see why you opted out for cams and instead went with GTR manifold and throttle bodies?

Mainly cost and not having trusted installer over in my area. Also, it would cost me more bc I didn't just want cams to be done. One person who has a cam HR puts out 321whp. My current setup on E85 is 315-320whp and that's not even fine tuned. Up to this point, I still don't know if this GTR mani will make power on our HR motor. So i'm kind of taking this one for the team to find out.

I am interested in your results because that will also influence my decision whether or not to go e85. But with me I will be intake, exhaust, art pipes, tomei cam, tomei headers and osiris tuned. I won't be installing the cams and headers for about another month or two but once I do I will post dyno graphs.

This manifold would work well with cams. Definitely go E85, I'm averaging 16-17 MPG or 275 miles DTE City. I could hit 300 miles on Highway. But dyno says you'll feel more TQ switching to E85.

Unfortunately, the car was not ready for the 1/2 mile shootout . The car is currently going though an idle surge, I'm guessing b/c of the EPS 70mm Big bore TB's. I've triple checked my install and leaks just in case. I'm still working with my tuner to get the idle corrected. Until then, I can't schedule any dyno time. But, I should be able to do some street pulls this week (Cross fingers), that should bring it closer to being fine tuned when I get on the dyno.

I don't think it's the TB's, the car idles fine on Stock map. When I load in the tuned map, that is when it the idle surge starts. My car won't take the idle re-learn process after trying countless of times. My tuner got busy this week, but they are currently working on a updated map to try. Hopefully it will be fix soon, i'm getting little annoyed about it.

Update:

I was able to force Idle Re-learn the car this Saturday using a Snap-On Modis Ultra Diagnostic tool and the car has been running perfectly. Butt-Dyno says it's fast, but I will have to schedule a dyno soon. My tuner just started tuning the car little by little as I send him logs and I'm happy that the car is responding pretty well without issues so far. More to come!

lol.

RJM: 1995
GTR Mani: 200
CJM Fuel Lines: 90
Radium Dampers 2: 180
EPS TB's: 750

About 3300 w/ misc. items. Way cheaper than the ITB's alternative.

Installed by me.

I'm sure you needed some custom work?

I'd love cams but the labor on them is insane! And power is meh

I really want to stay NA and make your power. My dream goal once I'm done with this car

Everything is plug N' Play. The only thing I had to do was trim down the stud to fit the fuel damper (simple dremel) and trim down the PCV on the driver side again with a dremel.

So like 3500 is still a couple hundred then doing cams since most places wanted $2,500 in labor alone!

These build would be sick with cams on top too!

Only problem I see with me copying your build is E85. I see it annoying having to drive 20 minutes to get gas. Even though it's not a daily, say I go to hop in it for the day.....oh wait I'm on E

How much do you guesstimate it would cost to do ITBs?
