Unhappy Help. Loss of 5th and 6th gear!

Hey guys so i have a 2008 350z hr and I've been having some transmission issues! Before you guys go and say check the forums... i have and have only found a little help in them. Hopefully now that its 2020, Someone might have ran into a similar issue that i have.

So i was driving down the highway ( normal speed ) go to shift from 5th to 6th and when i did 6th gear was completely gone... like it vanished, but it would stay in 5th gear while being in the 6th gear position. Couple months went by and naturally my 5th gear starts grinding when i try to put it into gear, when it would catch, it would engage for a little bit then pop out of gear into neutral... or if it wanted to, it would stay in 5th gear even when popped out and in the neutral position. I've been told so many DIFFERENT things that at this point i have no idea what could be the issue.

One forum said that it could be that the hr models use the jk*** platform trans ( jk41a or jk41b ) and that they use a concentric internal slave and its complete trash, That the factory plastic housings break and can cause major issues from grinding, being stuck in a gear, to vibrations. Another downside of these transmissions is that the synchros in 5th and 6th are steel instead of brass, which can also cause grinding issues. Now, How much of that is true? I'm not sure, was hoping someone could help with that one.

Another forum on here said that i may have broken a shift fork. Or even as simple as the roll pin that connects the 5/6 fork to the 5/6 rail. I thought of the possibilities of the 5th & 6th shift fork to be bent or broke, as well as the synchro that's with it..

Is there anything else that could have caused the loss of those two gears? In case you need the information, it has 72,000 miles on it and i've had it since it had 5k miles. 1-4 All of the gears work flawlessly without any issues. I have done a transmission fluid change but not with the redline MTL or MT-90. I know i should have....

On top of all of this. I have been looking into rebuilding the transmission that is already in the car, trying to find a used HR transmission ( which is literally impossible ), I've looked into Z1 motorsports at a brand new jk41b transmissions.
I read that the HR 350z share the same bolt pattern and everything as a vhr or hr 370z or g37 transmissons. If this is the case can i just pull any manual trans out of a vhr 370z and g37??? Alot of forums say, " Why would you put a 370z trans in? Just get the correct transmission for your car." But if its a direct fit and can be done easily or cheaply why not do it?

Hopefully i can get a little more light onto my situation. Thanks

Tldr.... but a couple things, you dont have a shift fork, and if it was the slave the pedal would stick to the floor and not just affect 5th and 6th.
