Just thought I'd share my experience with these tires as some of you may be considering various winter tires.
It finally happened. I've had my blizzak WS-50s on for two weeks and last night we got our first snowfall. Wet snow, then it froze overnight. This morning the streets were a skating rink.
Of course it wasn't like a mid-summer drive, but I was amazed at how much traction I did have. For "normal" style driving, I had no problems at all. Much better than my last car (Mazda P5) with stock all-season tires. And much much much better than the day of snow I had to deal with a week after I bought the Z... of course...

that is great to hear cause i am slated to order mine on friday. here in ohio we are still in the 60's (farenheit of course) and brief snow flurries have just entered the forecast for this weekend. nothing that will affect travel. but its only a matter of time.
I've got the same tires on the Zed. 215/60/60 on steelies and I was surprised to how well they worked last winter. The VDC plays a large part to. Turn it off and you have to pay a lot more attention.

Z's should be driven whenever and wherever possible!!!
A little or even a moderate amount of snow shouldnt hurt or deter any Z owner from taking her out. I cant wait for the blizzaks, the snow, and the winter driving!!!!!
