This vendor has an excellent price, and may ACTUALLY have them in stock:

Those are RH, not RacingHart.

Yeah, that might be the same guy that was complaining about this in another thread. Apparently they aren't Racing Harts, but he doesn't know what it actually stands for. My opinion, they are made by the same company that makes Racing Hart, so its pretty obvious what RH stands for. I think its just their progressive line up. That link above is the best price i've seen for the SBC. I'd say go for it, especially if they are in stock. I love my RH's

You didn't read my post on that other thread closely

RacingHart deals w/Dazz.

Dazz created RH Evo & RH Pro to push with the RacingHart line which they convieniently carry. I provided a link right off Dazz's "about us" webpage regarding the RH Evo / Pro (and Maya is mentioned) thing.

My guess is RH stands for nothing. It's a clear attempt to create consumer confusion and make tons of money off someone elses trademark.

It'd be like if Mackin Industries started to push Ray Engineering wheels .. or VR Pro, VR Evo.

Lol, oh well, who cares. I'm saying the general consensus would lead you to believe that a company that distributes both wheels is doing it on purpose i think. Either way they are good wheels.

Dunno, but they aren't the same company, that's pretty clear from Dazz's webpage.

I agree it looks like they are doing it on purpose .. that's what ticks me off. I have no firsthand ownership of them, so I don't know if they're good wheels or not .. I just know if I'm paying the price, I want the real deal.

^ I asked you that because I wanted to see if you thought they were made somewhere else other then Japan. I know for certain they are made in Japan. When I ordered the J8's in the summer, the wheels were delayed due to shipment from Japan (this info can be confirmed through any vendor that sells J8's). I also believe that it states "made in japn" on the inside of the wheel, I'm racking my brain as to where... I'm mentioning this due to my exprience with japanese wheels vs. knock-offs from the states. It does mean somthing. I seriously doubt this is some huge scam. Dazz is too big and well respected to do something like this.

^ But I do agree with you, these wheels are obviously not "racing hart" but Dazz's own product. Which I don't mind because of the quality of the whels (withstanding all the sh*t and potholes I've been through since the summer), and the unique design of the J8's.

In summary: Scam=no...
Misleading=YES.
Quality: Not to be questioned, they are quality.

It's called marketing...

The racing hart name had been around for a LONG time. RH was new and fresh, simple as that.

IMO misleading is pretty close to scamming But if they are good quality and you're happy with them, thats good enough.

That doesn't explain how they aren't the same company.
