Hi...

I have 04PPW 350z...

I'm planning to drop a new set of rims for my car....

I'm deciding whether the Black rims are better or the Gold rims.....

so here... I wanna get some advice or suggestion from you guys....


If possible... can u post some pix too?? Bcoz..... right now.. I still dun have a clue what's a PPW w/ black&gold rims looks like??? (I heard many ppl said this combo is good~~)

And for the wheel sizes.... I think i'll get 19' or the 20' ( dun have much money to afford 21' or 22' rims)


And also.... my budget is not that HUGE.... Around $2000...

20's are pretty much the limit. There might be one or two with something bigger, but it looks stupid. Might want to save your money a little longer and get some nicer wheels. I can't think of too many quality choices in that price range. You hit about 3 grand and things really open out. I'm assuming you are talking about 2000 budget for tires and wheels?

Go for GOLD!!!

You could get a decent set of 19"s with tires for around $3k. My 20" iForged with tires was around $3500.

 

Gold, gold, GOLD, period.
White+ Gold is "the" best combo IMO.
Seen Top Secret demo car? (White with 19' Gold LE37T's, not widebody one) That was the inspiration for me to go order a set of Gold LE37T's and wait for 6 damn months. Although my car is black, they look GOOD. But white on gold is even better!

I would say gold as well, but if you search for black te37 Illestjrz has his on a PPW Z and his **** is tight.

I'm debating about this as well..

Have a 04 PPW, and debating between black and gold.

Thinking about DB SF-Challenge, gold SF-challenge, or SSR Professors.

 

I also have a PPW but I am not debating anymore

flat black all the way..

my personal fav is flat or anodized black with polished lip, big polished lips..

I think gold looks good on black and flat gold on red...

 

Does anyone have a picture of those wheels on a G35? I was also thinking of black or gold.

 

get flat black... gold is played out now...imo too many people have it on white Zs. honestly i like flat black rims on white cars.

I would have to disagree. How many Z's in your neighborhood have gold wheels? How many cars period have gold wheels in your area of town?

I would say maybe 5-6 members of this forum have them on white Z's. I would wager that the ratio of gold wheels to blk/gunmetal wheels is say...15:1 or maybe even 20:1?
