Default Dunlop Sp9000 tires, are they good?

Hi guys, are DUNLOP SP 9000 TIREs good for 19inch 285/35/19?
I had Dunlops before and they were Okay, so I was just wondering, if these were worth the money.
and the price is $375shipped for the pair(285/35/19).
good deal?

what are the strengths and weaknesses on these tires? and compared to other tires, how are these?

thanks
John.

I have a set on my 18" Nismos. 245/40 front and 275/40 in the rear. IMHO, the are the best performance/value compromise out there. The handling is great. They do make noise on some road surfaces (the pebble/blacktop mix type). But on freeways and smooth city streets they are very quite. On launches they grip quite well. I have little experience in the wet (I try to keep the car indoors in the rain), but from little I do have, all was well. All in all, I'm quite happy with them.

BTW, I guess I'm a Dunlop freak, I have them on my truck, my Harley and my wife's Camry.

I have the SP 9000's as well, and I like them--in my experience they warm up really quickly, but seem somewhat soft to me.

I like them better than the Nitto NT 555.

The FM901 does not come in sizes to fit the "Z". On Dunlop's site the FM901 is listed as "V and "Z" Rated High Performance Sport Radial" for sport compact cars where the SP9000 is listed as a "Maximum High-Performance Sport Radial" for performance cars. The speed rating on the SP9000 is higher, and they have sizes to fit the "Z".

I love my SP9000s. I only have about 2,000 miles on them, but no complaints thus far.
