in my research for new wheels, i read that my tire pressure sensor will not fit on "reverse barrel wheels"... what are these?
since i definitely want my sensors to function on my new wheels, what types of wheels won't accomodate my sensors?
what else do i need to know in order not to have problems with the sensors on a new set of wheels?

do search on tire pressure sensor; the answer is there. two options:
1. if valve stem is oriented similar to stock, no problem.
2. if not, can attach tps to wheel with metal band.
Oh yeah, option 3: attach tps via drilling into wheel as pictured by king below (thanx).

well, good luck...it seems like what most ppl end up doing is just buying the rims they like and saying f*** it to the tps. this seems to be the simplest way to go as well.
but from what i've seen, tps will not work on 2-piece or 3-piece rims.
tps only has a chance of working on 1-piece rims...and even with these, some dont work.
and then there is the issue of the size of the rims in conjuction witht the tires...gave me alot of headach so i said screw it and will be getting whatever rims i like

 

You mean the options mentioned earlier don't work on 2or3-piece wheels? Why not???

 

the bands should work for any wheels but some ppl find that it doesnt work that well....tps getting loose, wrong readings, etc...
give it a try and tell me if it works
