Question tps on touring?

I have a 2003 Touring model, can I add tire pressure monitoring? If so, can it be integrated into the nav screen or would it be in the guage cluster? Would it require computer tweeks?

Mine has leather and nav, but it only had 17s. I believe that 18s with TPS was only available on Track and Performance trim lines. I am just curious because I could see it being useful if I could upgtade for a reasonable price.

yeah, touring should support tps already. When you cycle through the computer gauge settings, if you see LF -- RF -- or something like that, that's the pressure stuff. If your rims had TPS sensors, there would be values in there. I guess you would have to take them to the dealer though so they can program it so the computer knows which tire is which.

If your display doesn't show pressures, then getting TPS for the wheels won't do you any good. You probably won't have the receiver and other electronics to make it work.

My display doesn't show anything that looks like TPS. I was hoping that I could just add the sensors and get the computer adjusted. A drawback of the 5AT I guess.
