ordered some rims a month ago, was told they would be here in march, then april, just found out today that they wont be here until late may, maybe even later, whats the deal with volk, build the damn things and send them on over.

sucks when you have the money to buy some rims but nobody has anything in stock and the wait is 2-3 months.

 

damn what volks did you order and what size. I foung the perfect wheel last week with alot of calling and ****. volk GT 7 silver 10.5 rear 9.5 front with toyo t-1. I felt like I got lucky, nobody has volk rims, atleast the ones you want. they arrived yesterday and there spectacular. (quote from seinfeld)

 

I feel for you. I had the same problem with my rims. When I ordered them they said 4 weeks. I got them in 5 weeks but they sent the wrong rims. Then I waited another 4 weeks for the right set. On the second set the front rims did not clear the brembos. I waited another 5 weeks for the front rims and after just a little over 3 months, I got my rims.

Oh btw, I am going through the same thing with my TT. I ordered it over two weeks ago and dropped the car off. The car is still shipping in the shop and the tt has not arrived yet. this sucks!

 

Don't feel bad. I waited for 5 months to get my VOLKS.

 

i would blame the company that told you the wrong thing. my guys told me 30-90 days and delivered in that time period.

Ordered Volk LE37T on Jan.2004, received it on Aug 2004.

Patience is the key.. longer you wait, happier you are when you get'em.

 

I live in Japan decided to get some NISMO LMGT4, you would think they woudl have them lying around here. They told me it would take about 2 months. I have been waiting 1.

 

Same here, waited almost 7 months for my wheels. PM me if you need Mackin's number.

 

We all feel your pain...but 2-3 months isn't too bad. I special ordered my rear SF's in 10.5 @ +29, shoulda gone with +32, anyway it delayed the order another 2 months!

But I'll tell you what...another 1" of width and 1/2" of lip was welllllllllll worth it

i bought the black LE37s, evolution had 3 sets reserved, i called mackin and they said that volk didnt think they would get such a good response for the wheels, now they are backordered, and since volk only ships a few containers to the US they have to wait until they are full before they send it. it isnt the dealers fault its volk for being so damn slow.

 

Damn! I waited 4 days for UPS. Got lucky I guess.

 

I waited over 3 1/2 months for mine - same as above - wanted custom offsets (9.5/10.5 +29 f/r) and Volk no longer ships Winnings to the states, so every order for them from now on is a custom order...

This is normal....if you want the special Volks you must wait. Sort of like buying a new home or car I guess.

 

im fine with waiting, it the "no sorry it will be another month" that pisses me off, just because they want to fill a container, the wheels are built, just waiting to be shipped.
