Default **URGENT** Will 265/30 rubber fit on 19x8.5 wheel?

I need a quick answer b/c I need these tires ordered and mounted before I make a road trip in a week

I currently have 255/35's on my front wheels which are 19x8.5. They fit fine, I love them, but want a thinner sidewall. Since they do not make a 255/30 size, my only option would be a 265/30.

I don't mind a slight bulge b/c it protects from curb rash, but will the bulge be large enough to be a hazard or make the tire more prone to popping?

They are Hankook v12's btw, unfortunately

I can't see why they wouldn't.

The listed range is 9"-10". You are only a 1/2" off.

Why are you wanting a smaller sidewall? 245-35 or 255-35 is perfectly fine

Just got these:

I'm kinda wanting a little stretch, and I'm not sure exactly what size tires to get. They're 19x9.5 and 19x11. I'm planning on dropping it on KW V2 coils. Any recommendations on tire sizes?

Thanks everyone.

After doing a lot of reading, I found that the Bridgestone Re-11's have a very low tread life and are more of a track tire. One of my major worries with tires though, is that I am quite the spirited driver from time to time and I commute on a daily basis close to 80 mile round trip per day, also WET conditions... Most of the tires I look at in my price range have low ratings in wet conditions, except the bridgestone re-11's and toyo t1r's. However, I can't afford to put a new set of tires on the car in less than 10k miles.

Falken FK-452's are a very affordable tire... I've always run Falken Ziex's for the price, but I've also had two very unfortunate incidents with high speed cornering on those very tires so I want something with a bit more grip.

I guess my main concern is tread life (due to commuting) and wet condition traction. I can't afford to dig my Z out of another ditch.

no problems here...knowing it understeers changes your driving style/throttle engaging!
so would you guys think the 255 40 18 w/ 275 35 19 get rid of the understeer?

Won't get rid of it , just bring it back to stock. 275/35-18 front and 275/35-19 rear would mostly eliminate under steer.

245 40 18 and 275 35 19 is perfect. i ran that set up for a while and the tires fill the wheels perfectly. no problems with vdc and understeer was minimal. give it a little more throttle and it'll kick out. then again every tire is different.

back then with 31mm spacers on hks hipermax iii non sports.

sorry for the huge photo ffffffff

What camber were you running in the rear? I only have 20mm spacers and my wheels look like they stick out more than your wheels did.

Anybody know any distributors on my350z.com that offer Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta? I've read a lot of good things about them, but the information very well could be outdated.

Hi everyone,

I'm expecting some wheels to come in soon and was hoping to get some advice as to which tires I should get. I'm really loving Kirbaaybaay's set up and was hoping to get something similar to his. My car is completely stock with the exception of cusco sway bars. I do plan on getting Stance True Coilovers and camber as well as toe arms, but only after I change out all my bushings. I also have a friend with a fender roller that's gonna help me roll them as soon as he gets back from a car meet down in Austin(?).

Anyways, the wheels specs are 19x10 on the front and 19x11 in the back with +14 offset all around. I've searched pages upon pages upon pages and have been thinking of getting 245/275 40R19 (because Kirbaaybaay has the best rear setup IMO), but am sort of hesitant on the front fitting (thought I'd make it a bit bigger than his). So, maybe 255/285 35R19 or 265/295 35R19. I thought the last two sizes would be more practical because I drive the car about 120 miles a day, and very I drive very aggressive at that. Although if i'm able to clear the front and rear with my suspension mods, then I'll go with 245/275 40R19. But again, if someone knows of someone else with similar specs and has pulled it off, please advice me.

These are the wheels the tires will be going on.
