You will need 20 or 25mm spacers for them.

There are several sizes that *can* be used...265/40...275/40...285/35.
The Ideal is 275/40, since they match the stock diameter. I have those on my 9.5 rims and they fit perfectly. 265s are a tad short in diameter vs stock and you're not exploiting the full rim width. The 285/35 are way too short...and due to the short sidewall, will have a huge fender gap and produce a harsh ride.

Default back with something Icer

I passed the konigs they were wrong bolt pattern / cheap plastic

I bought some rims & spacers:

Axis Hiro Anthracite Rims ( $450 Used )

Size 18 X 8.5"

Offset +35

Eibach Spacers 15mm & 25mm ( Total $140 used )

----------------------------------------

Now....
Front will be +20 offset
Back will be +10 offset

I'm running stock suspension & will be running stock for a while.

So the question we come to is....What size tires do I get to get the nice flush look without having to roll my fenders. I don't want any empty gaps between the fenders and tires.

Please advise, Thanks in advanced

You can run 245/40 front and 245/45 rear , better yet just throw those wheels in the trash where they belong.

I have Konigs..18X9.5s... and I think they're good quality wheels for the price. They now have Enkie License for the casting process.
From Konig:

M.A.T. Technology Wheel Process

Aluminum, the material used in the production of KÖNIG’s M.A.T. wheels possesses, licensed by Enkei is a very simple structure. However, within this structure lie unlimited possibilities. With incremental changes in areas such as material properties improvements, form research, design refinement, and manufacturing methods, the capabilities of the aluminum will be stretched further.

M.A.T. Original and Latest Process
A new manufacturing process has been developed to produce König’s next generation of light weight alloy wheels. The Most Advanced Technology (M.A.T.) combines a one-piece wheel casting technology with a rim forming technology called the spinning process. This new technology of casting and rim forming by the M.A.T. process is critical in improving drastically the material property and strength of the wheels.

Before this gets into a Konigs are nice, what are you talking about tread......

I like Konig Rims, It's just the Konig Hotswap had some cheap silver plastic inserts.

So what's the verdict on what size tires I should get? Can I get anything bigger than 245, like 255 or 265.....

Front 255/40 ?
back 255/45 ?

or are 255's going to rub ?

Dude is a 8.5 inch wide wheel, how can you even afford wide tires when you can't even buy wide wheels. Toss them in the trash and start fresh. Look for something minimum of 9 inch front and 10 inch rear with an offset in the lower 20's.

XXR's go for around 500 and come in a variation of widths. No need to buy skinny wheels and put even skinnier tires on them. Do things right the first time and dont second guess what you just dropped your money on. This isnt a honda civic, its a 350Z.

Default just a little confused

Ok guys. I am decent with cars but when it comes to wheel setups I just cant wrap my head around the numbers. I am sitting on hotchkis springs and do not plan on going any lower then that as this is my daily driver. I am looking at a set of wheels right now that are 18x9.5 front that I can get either +12 or +22 and for the rear they are 18x10.5 +12 or +22. I am unsure of these will fit and dont want to order them if they will not. I dont want to roll my fenders at all. Also would it be better to just go with the 18x9.5 all around. All constructive input is appreciated.

Thanks so much in advance guys

Kevin

What do you plan on doing? Hella Flush, track, or daily? You can fit the +12's but depending on the tire you'll have to roll the fender. I had 18x9.5/10.5 +15 Enkei RPF1's w/245-35-18 and 275-35-18. They ran well and no issues with VDC. I have TE37's in a 19x9.5/10.5 +12 and I definitely had to roll the fender. Good luck

Im looking to daily drive the car. I definately dont want to do any fender modifications. I just realized they also have as options 18x9.5 in +30. Thinking that I should probably run the 18x9.5 front with +22 and rear 18x10.5 +22 if I run staggered. The other option is to run 18x9.5 all around and since im not tracking it i dont think it should make that much difference.

Use a offset calculator to compare your current wheels to the new wheels. With the new dimensions, check the car with a tape. Do you clear the suspension, brakes calipers and fenders? Reference: http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp

9.5 inches all around will work fine. Stagger tire width about 20 mm.

A lot of people run TE's in that offset.

Thanks guys so much. Basically either way I run it, staggered or non staggered, I am looking at running +22 all around. Now just to figure out whether staggered will suit me better or not

don't buy 4 9.5"... the 10.5 f/r in +22 is your best bet if you wanna run square without
extra work. otherwise stagger it.

I have 9.5s all around with 25 offset...no issues perfect fit with 245/40F and 275/40R. This keeps stock diameters too (VDC is happy). Someone mentioned 10.5s all around. Might want to look very carefully with those on the front. I would think there would be clearance issues there. What tires would ya use up front?
255/40 is ideal, but it's only *approved* for 10" wide (so you would stretch it)..still might have some clearance issues though. Approved for 10.5 are>>> 265/35, but it's is too short (and big fender gap)... 265/40 which will fit, but you better check carefully for clearance issues...275/35 will fit, but again will it clear with no modifications?
