There's a wheel fitment thread over in the Wheel and Tire section.
Also, before buying tires, check out this thread on how VDC works. When you get your new wheels, take a look here to see why they aren't fitting on the hub (it's common).
When searching for wheel fitment, I like to use Rimtuck.com. For 18x9/18x10, I'd look at offsets in the +20 area, so you're good to go. Not very aggressive, but it fits and looks decent.

Use a offset calculator to compare your current wheels to the new wheels. With the new dimensions, check the car with a tape. Do you clear the suspension, brakes calipers and fenders? Reference: http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp

I've got an 03 350Z 6 speed. best car ive ever had by far... However I hate these stocks wheels and I have no idea how the one previous owner has lived with them this long lol
I found some wheels I really like and in my range. Bolt pattern is correct and all that jazz.
They are 18x9 and 18X10 with 22/24 Offsets.
OR
The wheels are 18x9 with (+30mm offset) and 18x10 with (+40mm offset).

You want the lowest offset they offer, to the +24's will work great. Will they be flush, actually very close depending on your camber and what you consider flush.
Just got my rims yesterday, had them installed today.

Harsh ride...big fender gap...VDC doesn't *like it* (depending on rear diam).
I just bought my first Z and I love it. It's an 03 6 speed and is amazing!! I hate these stock wheels more than anything lol. The wheels I found are 18x9 and 18x10 on the rear. Offsets are 22 and 24 around. How would this turn out for my 03? I'd hate to get them and have to get spacers, but I figured I'd ask all of y'all first. Thank you in advance
In the rear with 10" you add 25mm to outside (and inside) and the 24 offset will add another 9mm outside, for a total of 34MM OUTBOARD...1.25". That's like adding a 30MM spacer (actually a tad more) on the rear 8.0 rims. 22 offsets will make that a tad less outboard.
I assume you checked for clearance issues with calipers..which, with those offsets, shouldn't pose any problems.

Then why not 245/40? That's what I have. That's the closest to stock diam and your sidewall won't be as *meaty*..offering BETTER cornering (stiffer wall). 255/35 sidewall is TOO SHORT and diam is 1" less than stock as well.

Gap refers to STOCK ride height only. Are you using stock rims? You *could* run 275/35s...don't know about clearance on front though. You can't (shouldn't) use stock rims (8") with those on the front...way too stretched. On the rear with 8.5 width, there will be some stretch, since 275s are best fitted with 9-10.5" rims.

Hear is the problem, the more you lower the car the worse your handling actually is. You can lower the car around 20mm front and about 25mm rear before you really start the screw up the roll center.
With the proper hight tire you still get the same look in the wheel well, more ground clearance and better suspension geometry.
If you really want to have a 35 profile tire on your car for the rubber band look, buy 19's and run the 255/35 front and 275/35 rear.
Last thing 245/40 front and 255/40 front and basically interchangable with a 275/40 rear. the 245 is a hair shorter than stock and 255 is a hair (0.1 inch) taller than stock tire height.

Yes it is possible to get ride of it with your coilovers, you will just need to lower the car an extra 1/2 inch more than you would if you were running the proper height tire to get the same look.

Awesome info bro! well since you put it that way then I'm going with 245/40/18 front and 275/35/18 rear? I'm not going to go too low since the road is bad in Boston, Ma. I just want that flush look but with no fender gap showing. I will have the spc kits ready when I do lower it. I just freaking hate the 40 meaty sidewall!! lol. I see some people on here do 275 all around but not sure if they run into trouble or not. More easy for me to rotate tires when I need to and not spend more money. Tough decision sigh...

You will want a 265/35 or 275/35 front tire with that rear, the 255/35 is to short. With either the 265 or 275 you will not have any TCS problems. You will probably need a fender roll, but since you didn't post your wheel offset I really don't know. Then again 295's are pretty wide and will most likely require a roll. Camber, no telling without knowing the wheel offset.

but personally I have this weird thing about tires that fit differently between front and rear. I dont like bulgy tires or stretched out BS either so Id prob run a 275/35 all around.
This user "jd714" runs the same tire sizes on a 10" wheel. Keep in mind however that hes on street slicks which can run wide. Pulled his pic off the fat tire thread, sure he wont mind:
