275 40s for the rear it is.
I know someone that can install the springs and do the fenders for a reasonable deal. I'll roll them anyway just in case I want to play with spacers.
Do you not have tools? I did the springs myself without reading the DIY.... now the DIY would have FOR SURE helped, but you can rent a spring compressor and get your money back.... I have heard you don't need to use it, but I have every time I worked on the front suspension.

I got my spacers in [yesterday]. I plan on throwing them on when I get off work to see how they sit in the rear. Will post pictures in here if I like it

I don't have a roller but I do have a compressor that's never been used lol... the rear springs seem simple enough but looking at thw diy the fronts look very doable

Make sure to unbolt your endlinks to your swaybar.... I forgot to do that on my buddys and I could NOT figure out how to get the strut out....

People say you dont need to be as cautious with the top bolt of the top hat when taking it off....I put a 2" deep gouch in the asphalt taking mine off while it was aimed at a wall.

If you have a crows foot wrench and a set of small wrenches it makes the top way easier to put together up front.

One final thing: allot 2 hours for each side. Likely you won't use 1/2 that time but it's craply to run outta sunlight.

Good luck!

Upgraded from 265/35/18 all around to 275/40/18 in the rears (still have 265/35/18 in the fronts). See the difference below

Before

After

Ignore the dirty a** wheels lol I had to take photos as soon as I could. I was so excited!

Lowered on Tanabge GF210's

Default Am I wasting my time?

I'm buying my buddies enkei rs05rr's

They're 18x11 +16 all the way around stretched on 235/40 tires.

I am lowered on kw v1 coilovers probably about an inch or so up front. I have no aftermarket front allignmemt parts.

Would these fit without fender work up front? I know the backs will fit no problem.

I am going to test fit them soon but I figured I'd ask here first before i wasted my time.

You will need aftermarket FUCA's to run aggressive camber up front to fit that width/offset for sure.

I ran 18x10.5+12 w/ 275/35 up front but my fenders are rolled flat and I have Cusco arms.
18x11+16 are ~2mm more aggressive than mine just to give you an idea. Pics for reference:

Are the after market camber arms necessary to run a set up like this?

Yes. He didn't literally say yes but he stated that your potential setup is ~2mm MORE aggressive than his and he needed FUCA's so the assumption is that you will as well. Read between the lines a little lol

Yes and no; depends on what kind of tire you want. If you don't want to get aftermarket arms or flatten your fenders then you have to run a thinner tire to avoid rubbing. The more you lower your car the more negative camber you will get without aftermarket arms but if you aren't planning on going lower than an inch I would probably opt to buy the thinner front wheels. Otherwise, you might come out looking "mexiflush."

^^^ It really does depend completely on your end goal: Stance, tucking wheel, autocross/track, meaty fitment, stretch/fender-on-lip fitment, etc., etc.

Give us a little more info on what your goal is

Well you shouldn't rub with those but keep in mind that's a 9.25" tire on an 11" wheel. I wouldn't do any aggressive driving on them.

Yeah, either way you're going to have to spend some money.

Yeah i was going to say, Advan needed UCAs because of the 275/35 more than likely. i bet the 235 tire on there would fit. but yes, it looks ridiculous.

What if I put 255's up front
I ultimately want to run 255's 285's
