3502GO, I feel your pain, on a non-related subject, I bought a 2nd computer and network gear for our house with $360 worth of rebates and threw all the boxes out before I got around to filling out the forms, so I threw $360 out with the trash.

As for your sensors, you can probably get them for significantly under $300 ea at www.courtesyparts.com

Yup...all is good. I felt better giving you a little crap back....shakes hands. As far as "morality" goes...I guess 3502GO and I will have to agree to disagree. I don't believe it is even a morality issue. In my opinion there was room for an honest mistake since the sensors were never discussed. But I do agree with him that what goes around comes around. There is more than one person out there that I'm sure will pay for their actions either before this lifetime ends or in the next!

And if your curious as to what I'd do if I were the buyer? If I had sold my sensors in my wheels and I truely believed you sold me them in my purchase from you (which I would; based on what little I know about the actual presale conversations)...then I'd keep them. Now if I already had the sensors, and/or had no need for them (like if I was putting them on a base model)...then I'd give you the opportunity to pay to have them removed...rebalance my wheels and remounted, and shipped back to you at no additional cost beyond that. 3502GO...you mention this guy is going to sell his other wheels? Maybe you can get the name of the buyer from him and/or at least keep in contact in case he sells them to someone who could care less about that feature? Certainly this guy is your best resource for access to "used" sensors which should cost pennies on the dollar compared to buying them from Nissan? Otherwise...do you know for a FACT that they would have even worked in your new wheels? If not...don't sweat it.

Also, I recently saw these valve stems that show different colors at the tip depending on proper tire pressure. If I recall correctly, they are green when inflated properly, and another color when 4lbs. or more underinflated. A cheap option for you in order to keep things in line at a glance.

Almost forgot to tell you guys...my baby is fine. Although the paint is probably a little thinner now, she looks great after a little elbow grease and rubbing compound. This makes me second guess all the talk about this water based paint being crap on our cars. You should see the damage to the trim on my garage door!
Needless to say, I'll be taking the risk of parking a little closer to my wife's car from here on in!

3502GO...just wanted to let you know that if you added up all the mistakes I'VE made over the years...well, lets just say I likely have most people beat. Sounds already like you have the right attitude: get a full tank of gas and let it all "hang out"

Courtesy Nissan wants just under $200 for each sensor.
