Default Will a 19" 10.5 rear +22 offset rub with 285/35 rubber?

I'm getting new wheels and wanted to know if 285/35 will rub on a 10.5" with +22 offset. BTW, I'm still on stock ride height.

No, it wont. I have that offset on a 10.5 and here is a pic with a 275/35

This pic is at stock ride height, there is no way that a 5mm wider tire (and 3.5mm taller) would be rubbing on that.

If you lower it, then yes, it will rub

Thanks Jim. So are you say even if I wanted to lower my car about .6 front and rear, it would rub?

I am now lowered around .75-1.0 inches ... it varies with the temp I think ... my car is tempermental

I don not rub with a 275/35, but I know a 295/30 will rub ... so I would venture to say yes you will rub in extreme cornering ... and pulling in driveways and such .. but I can't be sure, since I never ran that size.

Can I put 295/30 on the rear rim with +22 offset if I plan to stay at stock height? If no, how about +35 offset in the rear?

If I can, what will be the ideal front...265/35?

I just want to figure out what tires will give me the most contact patch without having to roll my fenders. Thanks

Thats great! What size tires did you go with on the fronts? 255/35? Did it interfere with the VDC?

sbcbaseball- what are your offsets for the rear?

What size tires did you go up front? offset and width?

Does it interfere with the VDC? Thanks

Im running racing hart cpf tuners...i believe my offsets are 22+ ??? I dunno exactly..my fronts are 9 inches, rears 10.5.. im running a 265/295-30-19 combo. Its a nice firm ride, as far as vdc goes i have the kp module that turns it off. I never liked vdc. Our cars are too torquey and it consistenly was messing with my driving. The plus about having 295 is that they look great and they protect your rims. The down side is that they are very pricey.
