OK... I have been searching for a long time with no luck..

I am at 30K, and am getting new brake pads. I want to get new rotors too for my NON Track model. What is the most affordable yet effective option?

I just need rotors. No BBK, no SS lines..

I'm in the same boat. I need front rotors, pads, and don't want to unload $2k for a BBK. plus the "little" brakes do well for one/two time hard stops, it's only after repeated braking that the Brembo/BBK's really stand out. Finally if you want to stop better just get wider front tires.

debating couple options they offer:

1. stock size rotors, pads, ss lines, fluid. $575 for all four corners. If you don't want the SS lines sell them.

stock rotors - $448 for all four. pads are like $229 for all four. SS lines $150-ish. so #1 is pretty good. kit is advertised stop tech rotors, hawk pads, SS lines, brake fluid.

2. "cheap" BBK. they have an interesting kit $1k for front, use your orig calipers. rotors (floating hat), pads, brackets, no SS lines. If just your fronts are bad this might be cool. and then do the rears later.

I think they give discounts to various Z board members but don't quote me on that, I don't work for them.

Good find aki.. I am liking the idea of the "kit" for all 4 corners.. I just bought Project Mu B-Force pads a few days ago, so I would have to sell the Hawks... hmm.. decisions..

i had same issue and recently upgraded to:

goodridge ss lines
rotora slotted/drilled rotors
hawks pads
better brake fluid (but not dot 5- i don't track)

so far i'm very happy with those. (looks good too)

try stoptech stage 2 upgrade kits. it will make your brake power strong without spending 2-5k.

I think for now I am going with the Rotora rotors, Project Mu pads, and new brake fluid. I am still debating on the SS lines though...

if you do ss line,s you will need to bleed brake from professional shop.
but if you don't do ss lines, you can install in your own.

Avalon hooked me up with my DBA xd slotted rotors and i put some goodridge lines on they are simply awesome...excellent prices. pauls a good guy to deal with

I recently upgraded mine with SS lines, and they gravity bled with no problems. I put on the new lines and let it gravity bleed for a few minutes, and a couple of pumps on the pedal and that was it.
