Just order my new 20 TSW thruxton Gun metal Front are 20x8.5 rear 20x10. I am going to slap some 245/35/20 in the front and i need some help for the rear should i do 285/35/20 or 285/30/20 rear.
You don't have the roll the fenders for the 20" 10.5 rims. I have them and they fit fine. Well, it all depends on the offset. You might if you didn't do your home work. <M>

Go with the 285/30 on the rears. That's what I'm using & it fits perfectly without any rubbing & TCS/VDC issues (but I guess that'll also depend on your offset). I think a 285/35 profile will definitely upset your TCS/VDC & throw your speedometer off since your overal diameter will be much larger.
I have a base 2003 and have 275/35 20 on the rear and the car rides very similar to the stock wheels. Don't worry about your speedometer being thrown off its all adjusted electronically by the ECU. You will not have to drop the car the 20" wheels fill the well perfect IMO.
i have the stock 350Z, So do you think i will have that problem, How abou the ride and did you drop, If yes how low?
Do you mean "base" model? If so, I don't think you'll have issues with VDC since the "base" models don't have this feature. Your speedometer, however, will be thrown off a bit. As far as the ride, you will have to be more careful over bumps/driveways but I felt like it was pretty much the same as going with 19" wheels. Since you're going wider, you'll definitely feel that the car is more planted on the ground which is plus when driving around corners. Depending on the weight of your rims, you may suffer during accelerations (which the performance purists love to complain about). But then again, I wouldn't recommend tracking 20's either. Personally, I went for 20's mainly for aesthetic reasons but I also made sure I got ones that didn't dramatically degrade performance either. If you track, I'd strongly recommend swapping to 17's or 18's at most for weight reduction & more rubber. Even though I'm riding on 20's, the overall weight of my wheels are fairly close to my OEM 18's. Yes, I'm lowered. I'm currently using Hotchkis springs which lowers your car no more than an inch. I think it's about .8". Drop is perfect IMO & there is no need to purchase additional camber arms which are commonly needed for lowering springs that drop your car more than an inch.
