Default How long was your volk wait?

I ordered my volks 3 weeks ago and my order is still listed as "pending." For those of you that had to have your wheels come from Japan, how long did you wait? is the 6-8 weeks timeframe reasonable?

I've been trying to order a set of VOLKS, and all the vendors are telling me it's a 3 month wait. I'm trying to order a set of 9.5" F, and 10.5" R. I might just go with a 8.5" F , and 9.5" R.

If any vendors are reading this post please PM me a price on the following:

Volk GT-C's 19 x 8.5, 19 x 9.5, Gunmetal.
thanks,
Chrisophisticated

I was waiting on a 10.5 rear too, (but in a 20") and finally decided to go with a 9.5 rear. I'm REAL happy I did, because the 9.5 rear has a big lip without looking rediculous, plus the rear tire isn't all stretched out. BTW, your Z looks like it's CS. Mercury silver matches it perfectly...

Don't be pissed, just be happy when you do get them. Good things come to those who wait, just as long as it aint ME, hahaha. J/k. After you get the wheels, you'll just be looking for a new project to tackle anyway, so it's prolly best to wait, cuz you'll save $$$$ in the long run. I always find that when i accomplish one task (or one purchase), i end up looking for something new right afterwards... it's an endless adventure..................PATIENCE.

If they arent there when I get home for leave, then I will return to afghanistan without even seeing them. I wont get to enjoy them until MARCH 2006 when I get home for good. that would effectively be a 10 month wait for wheels. Yes, I know, Im the one that chose to order all this stuff when Im overseas, but I would at least like a couple weeks of fun in July.

I've been waiting since Jan. as well for my GT-7's in Diamond Black! I was told last week that I have a guaranteed delivery date of June 9th. I'm not holding my breath though.

Nope. Expect to wait 3 - 5 months if the wheels you ordered are not ones that Mackin commonly stocks so they have to actually be ordered and aren't already set to be coming over from Japan. I wanted a set of Noble Golds and it took 5 months for them to come in. No complaining till you have waited at least 12 weeks like alot of us have.

I feel better now. I thought I was the only one waiting this long. Which ones did you order? This is the first date I've been given. For the last several weeks I've just been told it "was suppose to be on next week's container" each time I called. Now that I have a "guaranteed" date, who knows?
