What size tires are you running? Also what offset did you get. I am picking my set up on Wednesday and I am not sure which size tires to get in the rear. I am getting +20 offset in the front and rear, not sure if this is the right offset to get in these wheels and still keep the lip in the rear.

Not sure about the tire size. the offset is I believe .22
as far as the lip the rear one is about the size of a dollar bill

I have spent the last 2 months trying to figure out what rims and tire combo I was going to use and now after reading that thread, I may have to start all over from scratch again and forget about the Hiro's.

Then again this is the internet after all, so anything I read I always take with a grain of salt.

There are some things I own that I have read bad things about on the net and have personally had no problems with, so I am trying to be open minded about that thread.

Sometimes somebody might have a bad expirence with a product and they get soooo pi$$ed that they dig up all the negative dirt they can on it to try to get others to dislike the product to, so that they feel as though they are putting a financial hurt on the manufactirer and taking away their potential future cutomers.

I'm pretty sure any rim will bend or crack if you hit potholes hard enough, no matter the price. I had aftermarket chrome 15" steel wheels on a Mustang many years ago on 50 series tires and bent both the front and rear wheels on the passenger side, so does not surprise me that an alloy or aluminium wheel with 35 series tires would do that if hit hard enough. It felt like I ran over a 8" curb at 90 MPH!! Plus lowering the Z or any car from stock won't help smooth out potholes either.

I think it's just buyer beware type stuff, the further ya get away from stock the higher the risk.

I will probably still go with the Hiro's cuz I don't want to wait 2-3 months for Volks just to possibly find out that they maybe will ship the wrong size and or offset and have to ship them back and wait another 4-6 months in transet time and Customs and all that crap.

Like i say, any wheel will bend if hit right. No metal is indestructable.
