Cool Tire Selection - On Line Stores

I’m currently looking for a set of new tires in the following sizes:
245*40*18 and 275*40*18
After reading many posts on the forum, I selected few tire models and I have found the following on-line deals:
Toyo T1S for $800.00 shipped at liteswap.com
BF Good. T/A KDW for $746.00 shipped at discounttire.com
Kumho ECSTA MX for $790.00 shipped at tirerack.com
Dunlop SP 900 for $1,008.00 shipped at tirerack.com

I’m looking for good performance tire, quiet, with a decent thread wear rating and a cool look.

Do you guys have any comments on that selection?

Thanks,

LOIC

Did you look at the Avon's at Tire Rack? All season in those sizes are $600 plus shipping. $616 plus shipping for the Conti ExtremeContacts all season (they come with a free road hazard warranty). The Summer only Avon's are also $616 plus shipping there too. I have the Conti all seasons, ready to replace now, worked well in the winter, liked them better all round then the stock Bridgestones. Shipping to here in KY is dirt cheap, don't know to CA. Out of the ones you posted I would be more willing to try the BF Good T/As.

I just bought a set of Toyo T1 Rs (the successors to the T1 S) but to soon to tell you what I think of them.

In general, Toyos seem to get good marks from those who have them.

I really wanted Goodyear F1s but they don't make 'em in OEM tire size. The F1s look like the cream of the crop to me.

The T1-R was my first selection, unfortunately it is not available in 275*40*18...

Only the Avon Mtech 500 seems to be available in 275 from the tire rack. However the rating looks pretty good. Does anybody else had good experience with this tire ??

Oupss, I was limiting my search to summer tires only...
