What does everyone think of black rims on a silverstone Z....does it look good? Ive seen black GT-Cs on a ss and I thought it would stand out more than it did. Should I get gunmetal or black?

 

i personally like gunmetal more on the silverstone.

These are my Maya maido GR5's in gun metal and then in Gloss black after I powder coated the centers.
Black is definitly more eye catching, everywere I go I have people complementing me on the wheels.

I don't think pics of gunmetal on SS does it justice! When I saw a few in person I really loved it! But what I REALLY like are Volk Diamond Black! That is kind of in between gunmetal and black, more like a charcoal, at least that is what I read and sometimes could tell in pics! I'm not sure which Volks come in that color, I would like to know for my personal knowledge as well! Anybody help us out with this?

 

Every volk wheel can be ordered in diamond black. I have diamond black and they are truly black. A friend of mine has gunmetal GT-Cs and his next to mine dont look too much different but a shade or so lighter. Definitely go with the gunmetal, they look sooo hot on silverstone. Ill post up some pics of some gunmetal sf-winnings on a silverstone.

 

How does Diamond black compare to glossy black? Any appreciable differences?

 

I think the diamond black has a bit of metal flake in it when the sun is shining on it, but its black all the same and glossy with the clear coat on it. Its just not a clear coated flat black color.
