iforged, do it again?
although its for the new vette, I'm asking here because I know everyone better. I have a chance to buy some never mounted iforged, in polished finish, evolutions for the corvette from someone who bought the wheels before the car, and then didn't buy the car. I had problems first getting a replacement wheel, then getting them refinished in a timely manner. After refinishing the clearcoat peeled.
Should I take a chance again on some sweet looking wheels, or not? Are the latest iforged wheels having problems. He says these aren't clearcoated.

Personally, I wouldn't go with them after having your problems but then again it's up to you, and i'd be a hipoccrit if I said I didn't like them because I have Senekas on the way from Avalon Racing for my 997 Carrera.

yeah do it. it would look real good.
no problems with my set but you might regret the no clearcoat. i dont have clearcoat on my wheels and i have to repolish the lips every week. only takes about 5-10 minutes a lip but it gets old. you wont have to worry about the clearcoat peeling though.
post pics of the wheels, what sizes are they?

I say go for it you shouldnt have any problem with them since they're not clearcoated, I have the evo's also with no clearcoat personally I would rather not have a clear coat on the wheels... less to worry about, also they're easy to clean just spray meguiar wheel cleaner on them and it will remove all the dirt with out dulling them

the only problem with iforged is their awful customer service. after you get the wheels, everything is fine. i have had mine for almost two years, and couldn't be happier.

I absolutely love my Iforged wheels. The only problem I had with them was the customer service. Whoever tells you there customer service is better is lying. As far as quality of the rims, they are amazing. When I popped open the boxes, I was in shock and as happy as i have evr been. I can guarantee that once you get them you will love them. There nicer than most of the rims in the marketplace and the quality kicks ***.
