What kind of tires
#4
Horrible choice of rims! j/k Same offsets as I got, but just a different color. What color is your Z BTW?
I got the T1Rs since they seemed like a good tire. I think Falkens, Nittos, Kumhos, or Hankooks can be had for a bit cheaper. But don't cheap out on tires (not saying the forementioned tires are cheap, but just watch out for cheap ones).

Check here for pix:

Sizes are 245/35/19 and 275/35/19. A little bit of stretch, but it doesn't bother me. Also, car is not lowered yet since the Hotchkis are on backorder.

I haven't really driven it that much since I got them on, but I haven't noticed any rubbing so far. Depending on how much you drop it, with a 245/35 in the front, you might get some SLIGHT rubbing, but for the rears on a 275/35, you should be fine. Since I don't have the springs yet, I can't determine whether or not the front will rub for me or not.
As for the stretch, just imagine like a really wide wheel with a really narrow tire on it. These two pix may help show you the stretch:
(Notice how the tires "barely" wrap around the wheel)

TOYO TS1s are best "bang for the buck" had them 19" on my Z. Have Michelin PS2s on a BMW and the Toyos are half the cost and 95% the tire performance. Also check out Falken line as great tires for the money. May not have 19" in size you need.

So around how long do these tires last with daily driving, mostly highway. Also, if not 245/35 in the front, any other sides that will not rub? the tires arent as expensive as I thought they were, i saw Toyo T1S and Toyo T1R for 175 a piece. Which isnt too bad. I saw some other tires, such as Falken Azenis St115 for $155 and Hankook Ventus Sport K104 for $156, Also, Toyo Proxes 4 for around $180... out of these, I love the prices of the Falkens, but how do these tires compare amongst eachother, and others in the market.

Tsex: where did you find those tire prices? I never actually looked around, but that sounds pretty cheap.
bstansbu: yeah I don't like the stretched look either, but not all tires are the same. I think that the BFG KDW2 look "thicker" and hence don't have as much of a stretched look as the Toyos. Falkens also seem to run "thinner". But, I would agree with you in that you should probably not get 245/275 on a 9.5/10.5" wheel, especially with one of the narrower tires. Next time, it's 255/285 for me

Also, tsex, I don't know where exactly in FL this guy is, but if you are close by, check out his ride. He has the same wheel size/offset, and is running a 245/275 tire setup. His tires don't look as stretched as mine do. Maybe that is because he has the BFG's, or maybe you just can't tell in the pix. Anyways, here is the link:

tsex...i remember talking to you thru PM. I got my set of sf challenge and i strongly suggest a 255/35/19 tire for the front. I'm running 245/35/19 in the front and i'm scared everytime i go over pot holes.
