I need some help here, I was going to get the Moda R6's which I think are great looking, but because they only come in 8" max width it seems they will be too skinny and not fill the wheel well with it's 35mm Offset and weight about 30 Pounds a piece. That aside what can a man who can't throw away 3K on wheels alone look for? I'm thinking $2500 for a complete package...

LA-Z,
Get a hold of Todd at Discount Tire Direct. He has multiple wheel options for you in that range. I just ordered some Konig Appeals in black opal with the polished lip. 245-35-19's in the front on a 8.5 wide rim, and 275-30-20 in the back with a 9.5 wide rim. They should be here next week, so I have no pictures yet, but I am moist with anticipation!
If it's not easy, it's not SLEA-Z

LA-Z, we are in the EXACT same situation, I have been scouring the internet trying to find the magic answer, when you find out let me know
I want a package that is <2500, the RIGHT Offset (I don't want the TUCKED look) and not over 25lbs. so far I haven't found the answer (oh ya, I want 19" too)
Discount tire just put up some new wheels, BUT I have a feeling they are all heavy and I know the offset is wrong
here are a few
Fondmetal 9x, ATS comet, Konig blatent, Konig Holes.

Well im ordering some Axis s7 Mod's from spyengineering and they are in the size of 19x8" The tires will be 245/35/19 on the front and 275/35/19 on the rear. The combined price of the rims, and Toyo Proxy TS-1's as the tires is running me $2,650 with mounting, balancing, lugs, caps, and all harware included.
Here is what they look like,
Also let me know what you guys think of the look!!

StillenZ, you must have talked to them at the same time I did. I asked about the Axis MOD also. They claimed the largest width they come in is 8". Then I asked on this forum and EVERYONE told me NOT to mount a 275 on an 8" wide wheel.
Well aparently its not THAT bad cause people are doing it. PS- you wanna run 35 series tires NOT 30.

wadd3456,
Thanks for catching the 30 I meant to say 35 series. And as far as I see it running the 275/35/19 on the 19x8" rim is fine. I talked to discount tires and they didnt have anything to say other than, "It wont cause any problems"

Hmm good to hear.
Once again, seems a waste to run an 11" wide rim when you can run 8 or 9 with the same tire.
Looks like ill be ordering the MOD after all. Hey, what did they quote you on JUST the rims?

19 x 8 with 275 tire WOW
Haven't seen that one. Anyway anyone seen these Black Racing wheels. They are really light plus good quality and cheap. Only have bronze white or black colors.

Just looking through a couple of the previous posts and I had some comments.
A. In reference to the correct tire profile for a 275 width 19" tire, the correct profile would be a 35 series, not a 30 series if you want to maintain the same overall tire diameter as stock. The stock 245/45/18 tire is 26.6 inches tall. The 275 width tires on 19" rims would be as follows:
275/30/19 = 25.49 inches
275/35/19 = 26.57 inches
Obviously, the 275/35/19 is the correct tire.
B. In reference to the Axis 7 Mod wheels, I find it hard to believe that they only have the rim in an 8 inch width. Just look at the show car's rear wheels. Those have a much deeper lip than the 8 inch front rim and must be at least 9.5 to 10 inches in width.
C. With respect to the question of putting a 275 width tire on an 8 inch rim, don't do it. The recommended tire size for an 8 inch rim is a 225 or 245 at the largest. A 10 inch rim is optimal for 275 width tires (275mm = 10.8 inches). I have seen 275 tires on 9 inch rims and that even looks a little funny because the rim is pulling the sidewall of the tire inward. I've tried a 255 on an 8 inch rim and that didn't look right either. Supra owners commonly put a 275 on the rear 9.5 inch rim which doesn't look bad, but you're really pushing it with an 8 inch rim. On the 350Z you can go 8.5 or 9 inches up front, and 9.5 to 11 inches in the rear.
D. Price? How are you getting the Axis mods so cheap. They cost $1550 each for the fronts and $1650 each for the rears from spyengineering. That's $6400 dollars. Did I read their website incorrectly? Perhaps it's because their giving you only 8 inchers and not the 8.5 front/9.5 rear combo? Just curious.

onefastdoc,
The Axis 3pc Mods are the ones running over 1k plus. The Axis Mods that are listed on the site are one piece that have been made to look like the 3pc. They are a new model that will be offered at the end of the month. The 1 piece has a 2.25" lip while the 3 piece has a 3" lip. here is the address to the listed combo http://www.spyengineering.com/SPY/se7en1.html
Wadd3546,
I was quoted $1360 for just the rims alone. 8" is the widest they offer the rim in. If you want to run some 20" S7's you can get them in a 10" wide rim. How would some 19's on the front and 20's on the rear look? ?

Hey guys,
Sorry I don't own a Z but I do own a G35 Coupe 6 speed Black on Black. The sister car. I joined your forum because you guys are the only ones doing mods to their cars. I think this is a great forum. I thought that I might be able to help in this matter because I have 19X9's in the front and 19X10's in the rear one piece Gewalt Evo II's. I'm running 245/35/19's in the front and 275/35/19's in the rear (Dunlop SP9000's) Offsets are in the mid to high 30's. The wheel is made in Japan and looks really nice. Please look at my pics. I think this wheel would look really sweet on a Z as well. I paid $2600 for the whole package with tax and he pays for shipping. Take a look at my wheel here.. http://www.imagestation.com/album/?id=4291031673&idx=1 Hope this helps. Vick at Discount tire in El monte is who I got them from.. You can visit his website at www.wheeloptions.com or just call him. These wheels fit over the Brembos and were the only one piece that I could find that was in a 19X10 rear... Call Vick up and tell him Tom the guy with the Black G35 coupe sent you and he'll hook you up with a great deal.

Gewalt is made by a company called arrow enterprises in japan. They make really nice quality wheels at great prices. I ship loads of Zauber wheels from them nice nice nice. Here are the offsets for the Gewalt EVO II wheels are 18 x 8 +30 38 45MM, 18 x 9 +38 45MM, 18 x 10 35 45MM, 19 x 8 38 45MM. 19 x 9 38 45MM, 19 x 10 35 45MM. Finishes are silver and chrome. If you like these wheels also look at the Yokohama Kreuzer Series V it looks close and has more colors.
