Default Volk LE37T Black pics - offset ?s

So I had 19" Axis Hiro's 8.5 front/ 9.5 rear. I had 245/35/19 front - 275/35/19 rear. I decided to upgrade to the LE37T 9.5 front/ 10.5 rear w/ +22 offset.
I still had some tread left on my tires so had them put on these wheels so they're a little stretched. The new Volks, being an inch wider are sticking out pretty far and I'm worried that when I get 275's on front and 285's on rear that I'll have some rubbing issues. The Volk guy says if I drop my car it will be fine. Does anyone have a simular setup w/ drop? Or do I just have the wrong offset?

Looks good. I doubt you can go 275 on the front...

I have those wheels dropped about 1.5", 255/35 front 285/35 rear. I had to roll the rear fenders because it rubbed pretty bad. The front is fine on smooth roads, when going up inclines turning I also rub slightly. Im not sure if you can run a 275 front with the +22 offset, most Id go on this set up is a 265. You will need to roll or cut your rear fenders with a 285 out back. Click the link in my signature to see pics of my set-up.

Alberto, thanks for the reply. Your Z looks great. You think If I only drop 1" that might take care of the rubbing?

no even on just tein s tech (less then 1 inch drop) a 275 up front will rub badly. im also pretty sure that with the 275 and 285 combo your cars tcs and vdc just might go wack on ya. thats a rather interesting combo and definately in excess imo unless your runnin a tt stroked z. i think 245 275 or 55 and 85 is plenty of rubber on teh ground to keep traction especially on what appears to be an n/a z. just my opinion but i dont even think 275 will fit up front with those offsets unless your widebody.

ZinFla, thanks for your reply. Good advice. I probably will go 255 up front. Actually the 245 up front isn't stretched too bad. Your right, it's a bit over kill for a n/a z but going tt stroked may be in the near future.

you go that get a daily driver. lol. tt stroked z looking bout 30k would be my best guess in all the costs. plus incredibly retardedly high horsepower. lol thatd be nuts to see. some performance shop is workin on that project right now and is expecting around 900 horse. thats pretty much a straight up drag car. good luck wit that project and wit the tires.

Hey, I can dream. Maybe "near future" is a bit optimistic. I first want to pay it off and wait for the warranty to expire. I don't want to be one of the guys that slapped a tt on a stock engine and are now making payments on a car w/ a blown engine and a voided warranty. If I go w/ tt I want to be sure the engine can handle it. I've been looking at the SGP site and the Basic Long Block: $4700 + $2000 core - Good up to 600 Rwhp and the APS Twin Turbo Kit: $7450. I know there's a lot more mods to consider in addition to these 2 items, I'm still trying to educate myself on them.
My goal is to get 450-500Rwhp and be somewhat reliable. Hopefully, I can do this for somewhere in the 15-20k. What do you think? Do I need another reality check?

Nice Z! That's the first one I've seen w/Le Mans Sunset. How much did you drop yours?
Have you had this setup long enough to report on amount of uneven wear?

Thanks, I still think you will rub. I only paid $80 to have rear fenders rolled so its cheap piece of mind. I would def suggest the 255/285 combo on the 9.5/10.5" wheels, they look and handle great. Front is very slightly stetched (with KDWII's every tire is different) and the rear looks perfect.
