Default Spokeless rims? Are these rims real or what?

Nice concept, not sure how they work. Is this a PS or real? what are they made of if they are real?

you could read the other 2 posts that have been made about them over the past day and maybe find some info there.

I dont see any signs of it being photoshop work. I've expanded it and searched the edges.

My theory is that is a large disc of acrylic attached to a 3 piece wheel hoop. Cool for shows but I don't see how the brakes would get any air for cooling.

wow i think its Photoshopped no way is that real unless i see a company for it?

Somebody needs to get to the bottom of this. Those are sexy! I hope they're real.

Edit: If they are real, they have to be some kind of PolyCarbonate. I wonder if the elasticity of the plastic has a large effect on handling?

yea if they are real i dont know how comfortable id feel driving on them
