Default Atlanta wheel connection?

OK guys...I need a little help. While I recover from a hangover from New Years, I thought I could spend some time productively and am hoping someone online is from the Atlanta area. I'm in town for the next couple days and would like to spend some time in a couple performance shops that you all may recommend. I'm specifically looking for someone that may have some of the Volk wheels in stock...but am happy to spend some time anywhere where they may have some of the latest info on accessories available for our Z's. I could easily pull out a Yellow Pages...but you know as well as I that I'm better off not running around to 10 different shops when probably only two of them are worth my time. So which ones are they? I'm staying in Conyers...but am willing to drive a ways to check out some of the toys for future purchases.

Thanks

I bought mine from Kaufmann Tire, at Gwinnett Mall. Found the wheel I wanted online at discount tire, but they matched the price at kaufmann, and they have great service and a great tech there, although they dont specialize in the Z.

In Chamblee is Butler Tire, they do a lot of the pro sports guys cars, so always have a lot of nice stuff.

Lots of NOPI locations around too, but other than that, I buy my stuff over the internet.

Thanks 2003Z,

Any other shops you guys can recommend? Also, 2003Z...do you have pics of your setup? Can you post along with your selected offsets and tire sizes? Thanks.

front are 35 offset, rear are 30. If you are getting new tires, I would go with the 18x9's all around, as they stick out just a bit further.

Nice looking wheels...forgive me for my ignorance, but what does NOPI stand for? If these are other performance shops can you give me a couple names of ones you might recommed with the most knowledgable staff and inventory? Thanks again.

NOPI actually stands for Number One Parts Imports, or something to that effect. Its an atlanta chain of high performance parts stores, and they also have a huge mail order / internet sales and huge nationwide car shows.

Yeah...you're right, I see there are quite a few listings for Butler Tire. Which one is closest to Conyers? I'm not from here Also...is there one store that is better stocked? Sometimes with chains there is one main store and the other satilites are no where near the same? Is there a "best one" to visit?

thanks again

If a moderator wants to close this thread out...go ahead. I stopped at Butler Tire and the damn place was closed! Anyway, it looked like a sweet shop. I recall seeing a sign in the window, "130mph on car alignment"? Or was it balancing? How the hell do they do that?

Anyway, thanks guys...now back to dreary WI
