Default is 35 lbs. heavy?

Hey guys, for all those many people who are much more knowledgeable about wheels than myself, would 35 lbs. be considered rather heavy for a 18x8 wheel? I have been looking at some Blitz Type 03s. Anyone have any experience with Blitz wheels, are they durable? Comments please.

I guess I've heard good things about Blitz with regards to how long they've been available and so forth...but YES 35lbs is a LOT. As an example your stock 18" are around 20lbs (if I recall correctly) and you can get a high quality two piece or three piece forged center wheel of the same size for nearly the same weight. Not that I'm telling you not to buy the wheel you've come to like....but there are many options out there that I think will satisfy your likes for the same money or less and be much lighter. Check out Iforged and HRE or Kinesis if you like the Blitz style with the deep lip. Also, there are some Volks that are competitively priced with a nice lip. Good luck.
