Work Wheels Thread
Hate posting threads like this but theres just so many crap threads with confusing info.
Intended wheels:
Work Emotion CR Ultimate - Matte Black
Tire sizes are negotiable but I absolutely hate the stretched tire look. This car is meant to balance looks and functionality, not scrape oil pans and have the lip fitting over the fender.
Currently stock height, planning 1-1.5"" drop with 1-2deg negative camber (that maxes out stock hardware right?)
Since this is an FI car I dont think square all the way around will work unless I can somehow fit 10-10.5's up front.
Setup 1: Staggered setup, same diameter, max usable tire size per rim and space
Front: 19x9.5+22 w/ 275 tire
Rear: 19x10.5 +22 w/ 305 tire
-will these offsets provide the "flush" look (and i don't mean in the stance flush meaning) with fenders and still be functional without too much modification?
-305s fit in the rear?
Setup 2: Staggered setup, raked front to back like Nismo's, max usable tire size per wheel and space
Front: 18x9.5+22 w/ 275 tire
Rear: 19x10.5 +22 w/ 305 tire
-will 18x9.5+22 fit over stock Brembos?
-same tire question
-is there an advantage or disadvantage to a setup using different F/R diameters?
Open to any and all suggestions and help

With all the camber needed to run a 275 up front your contact patch will be the width of a rubber band. But seriously, isn't it a tad overkill? Save yourslef some money on rubber.
The Z wont be driven all that far, so saving money on tires isnt my first concern. Definitely not looking to run excessive amounts of camber. Anything outside of whats considered functional (as in performance enhancing) camber is a no-no.
Just sold me on my intended setup, the same but with 9.5" in the front. What offsets?

Hey guys any suggestions would be really great. I have 19" work Meister s1, 9.5 + 12, 10.5 +10.. I have fenders rolled and installed spc camber arms. Lowered on h&r springs (1,3" F, 1" R) I'm ready to buy tires and with the research I have done here 245 35 19, 275 35 19 seems to be the size to go with. Not looking for much stretch. Also want to fill in my rear wheel wheel. Anyways there is a guy I no that said he has 235 35, 265 30 Tires.. I don't mind that stretch but the 30 in the rear is that correct? I believe he said that will make the wheels the same diameter. Any info please don't hold back thanks

Can you not FI with a square setup? Or were you just concerned about it not fitting in the front? Pretty sure a 10.5 in the front would fit, probably not with a 275 tire without some pull but it's already rolled so it might be close? Just curious here, because I was planning on FI "one" day but didn't know if square would cause me any problems with that?
This is real old, but I think I'm in love, obviously they are discontinued. But! Does anyone know a close second comparison? As far as work wheels go? I looked at VS-XX as a second, is the silver a polished? Or is it more matte silver?

Are those widths possible on the Z without extreme modification to the wheel wells? I am fine rolling and doing some molding of the fender liner but I am not looking to be doing 9 points turns to avoid rubbing. Tires are just a byproduct of the wheel size which I want to be as large as is functional.
https://my350z.com/forum/wheels-and-...es-thread.html please look around in here. I can turn my wheel lock to lock, no problems, I run a 10.5 front with 285/35-18

, You had me excited for a lil while...
